I recently visited the Beachwood Ohio, location. While there I picked up a few pieces to take a family photo. This photo was important to my husband and I due to my health issues. However, I left my wallet at home and only had cash on me. Not realizing it until check out, I was only able to purchase 1 out of 3 items. The sales associate then removed the other 2 items off my bill, after purchasing my item my daughter was still in the fitting room. While waiting that same sales associate stated (while talking to the key holder) “ Wow!! she made me do all that work and was to cheap to buy that stuff. Ugh, so annoying!” This really hurt for more than the obvious reason but my son over heard her and later that day asked are we poor. I reached out to the District Manager Megan and she clearly could careless. I will never shop there again!

I will never purchase online from The Children’s place again. I ordered over 3 week ago and my stuff has come 1 by 1 and still do not have all my stuff. When I call to check on it, I can NEVER get through to anyone. It always says, “we are experiencing extremely high call volumes, please try your call again later.” I WOULD LIKE TO JUST BE PLACED IN A POOL AND THEY CAN ANSWER MY CALL WHEN I AM THE NEXT CALLER IN LINE. Awful experience and I will never do it again.

This place is by far the worst they’ve cancelled 2 of my orders for no reason didn’t let me knw and then when u call them they don’t answer the phone it kept hanging up on me and the wait they never answer

I will never shop this brand again. I placed an order on the 29th with no indication that the jacket I was ordering was out of stock. I was just notified that they are unable to complete my order and now the other jacket (at Justice) that my daughter wanted (it was our #2 choice) is now back up to $100 after being half off for the last two weeks. There are lots of other places to buy cheap crap and half the hassle.

They cancel part of your orders for no reason and without any notice, you just need to be checking the website to see whats happening with your order. athey dont respect the original price you had obtained the items for. Customer service the worse, have you hours waiting on the phone and wont reply to your emails. If you order with them dont expect to recieve half of your order

ORDER # This store gave me worst shopping online experience. I made an order on sept 30th. It was suppose to be delivered on saturday the 6th. It wss never delivered. When I tracked it it said it was delivered. I call the ups. They said the sender used 2 carrier so I have to call sender. So I called children's store on the 8th. They told me they will reship and I will get a confirmation with tracking within tne next 3 days. 3 days later, nothing. I called again they say they have no update from the warehouse, it's taking a bit longer than usual. Called again today, they still have no response for me. The guy said it take 7-14 days for the warehouse to send them shipping info for a reshipment. Wow so CRAZY. That's really unfair. If I order something, it's because I need it. So why they think it's okay to just keep for as long they want. My son is groei g out of his clothes. Today I had to go to Ross to grt him sn outfit for church tomorrow. Meanwhile I've ready other over 8 sets of clothes for him from the children's place. Not fair at all. This the worst store online ever.

Company violates their own return policy as stated online. There return policy states that if you don't have a receipt, "exchanges can be processed for the same item/color in a different size". Yet, they do not stand behind their own written return policy. Events: My mother, who lives in Texas, purchased school uniforms for my children as a gift when she came to visit me in Chicago. When my son tried on the size 12 (regular) pants and shorts she purchased, the regular size did not fit him. So I ordered several husky size 12 uniform bottoms for him online so my son would have bottoms that fit before school started. Since the regular size 12 bottoms my mother purchased did not fit, I also wanted to exchange them for husky sizes. Since there aren't any stores in the center of Chicago, which is where I live, I looked up the store locations closest to me and discovered several bad reviews regarding the stores refusing to accept returns. So before I drove 30 minutes or more to the suburbs, I called the company's customer service department to confirm their return policy. At that point I was told they would not accept my return since I didn't have the original receipt even though their on-line return policy states otherwise.
