Delivery was fast, dog loves the food and even looks forward to eating his food. I am integrating the food more slowly than recommended because my dog has a very sensitive stomach. So, just starting out with a spoonful and slowly building up.

Love the product and my dog does too. However for someone used to speedy deliveries from Chewy, it took a long time to arrive. Maybe that's why my first order arrived with one tray cracked and partially thawed. Another tray was dented and softening but not cracked. Thankfully we were home when the box was delivered and immediately retrieved the food. I worry about future deliveries sitting around somewhere thawing out.

Our vet recommmended Chi dog to us as a way to ensure our Portuguese Water Dog was getting the proper nutrition needed as we support her kidneys and neurological functions. We could not be happier. Our Bela is happier, has more energy, and is starting to put the weight back on. The food seems great but pamphlet in the box describe the food/dog types differently than the website and so I think I ordered the wrong one. Also, my dog is a puppy, so when reading the fine print, I see he supposed to eat twice the servings so when I ordered and paid for two weeks, I really only got two weeks of food. That makes your prices MUCH more expensive than I had anticipated.

Chinese Medicine Food Therapy uses specific foods to maintain health and correct imbalances. If some indications seem confusing I'm happy to clarify via email or phone and we can determine the best meal for your pup. The portions we sent in your dog's delivery are correct. There is dog food labeling requirements the necessitate the statement about "twice the volume for puppies and pregnant dogs". It is a regulation for kibble diets that have not been updated for portioned meal deliveries. I'm sorry for the confusion. My 2 senior dogs absolutely love Chi Dog! My most senior, she is almost 16 years young, is a picky eater and she licks her plate clean! We also deal with ongoing pancreatitis and liver issues. Along with some medication and starting them on Chi Dog our numbers are improving. I am very happy with the quality of the food (we use the Wood diet and the Fire diet) and it is so convenient with the delivery system they have set up. I also want to mention how EXTREMELY helpful Dr. Boher has been. She is so helpful by answering all my questions and is so kind in doing so. I have recommended Chi Dog to several friends and family members and will continue to do so.
