Checkr did a background check on me for Spark Driver. They claimed my License was invalid which it wasn't. Trying to use their portal like they asked to dispute this and the portal isn't working. I am now on the phone waiting for a human to answer and it's been over 1.5 hours still listening to elevator music. Then I read all the negative comments about their horrible service. Can't anyone do anything about this crap. Now I can't have the side gig I wanted because of checkr bad ways of doing business. And for some reason Walmart uses them

Wow I come here ready to give a one star, shd've come here sooner than waste my money. Yup they suck. [...] Real question here is how BBB.org rate them an A+? Very interesting. They took over two weeks but the worst part my background check was inconclusive! Bih ahh mug service representative (Jasmin h) reiterated each time in the chat 1. checkr background parameters, 2. link to their faq, 3 'Can I help you with anything else?' My check did not include a search in my county home of record. That is highly un background checkr of them. I am almost certain they rely on some outdated "SYSTEM" to do the entire process and use <0.1% human oversight to check for errors and consistency with their software. Another -1- star.

I would give them zero stars if I could. First of all, be aware that they don’t have a phone number for customer service, which makes resolving issues incredibly frustrating. I had a problem with a glitch in my report and was told via "chat" that they couldn’t fix it, so I’d need to run a new report. They also claimed there was no way to cancel and assured me that the first report would be credited. It never was! Despite having copies of the original "chats" and emails, that confirmed that I was told that a credit would be applied, they continue to refuse to issue it. I paid for one report, but they keep sending invoices for the second one—the very one they told me to request! This is 100% a scam. I strongly advise against providing them with any personal information

This is probably the worst service I ever had to deal with. As a candidate, I keep receiving requests every day for material to upload with little explanation, and there's no way to discuss their request with a real person and ask for clarification. If you send something wrong they just request the exact same thing again. I can't believe employers keep using this service, it's appalling.

You can't reach a live person accept thru chat. They report arrests but the report does not clearly show the dismissal leading the idiots at uber and lyft to think the charges are still pending. Even if the case was dismissed 5 years ago. It takes 30 to 45 days for them to recheck the report. You upload supporting docs that are never acknowledged. Another company that strives to delay and confuse as to stay in business. That's why uber and lyft are big fans. No reputable company would rely on checkr for information. They are cheap and fast. Sure we can all afford to lose a months pay because their reports are bogus.

🌟 I can't believe how hard it is for Checkr to update my driver's license and my Last name. For some reason I'm not able to update it myself and support has not been helpful. This company is very unprofessional, please help..

Never seen such a useless company in my life...3rd class services...I will never recommend this to anyone. Too many glitches on their website. Its an horrible experience...Please avoid using checkr

It could be generally useful, but their support is simply horrible. One of my candidate was confused and forgot to fill up the educational background check that i paid for. They simply did not want to give a chance for updating the information and instead asked me to rebuy for the service.
