Lost my uber job of two years because Chekr’s background check on me glitched out. Absolutely rediculous

This service is extremely unreliable and dishonest. The claim they are waiting on court clerks is absolutely false. I got a similar background check with all the same info from a more reliable agency which was done in less that ten minutes. 100% of my report is available online. There is no reason to need to wait for court clerks that is simply an excuse for incompetence.

Company I applied to used this site. Driving record went through quickly then background check is still pending. No information has been requested. Eta shows as 4/3/25 and original email states it will be done between 4/2/25 & 4/7/25. Here it is 4/9/25 and background check is still pending, and no type of correspondence had been attempted and I've been checking email/spam folders to ensure nothing has been missed

Their customer service sucks!! If you are an employer looking to get a new service, stay away from Checkr. You will never be able to talk to a person if you have any questions.

Date of service was March 27,2025. I worked directly with the Owner (she is amazing). My sister is a struggling alcoholic who was homeless and finally surrendered and asked for help. I kid you not I was able to call in the morning and there was a plan in place for a detox that night! That was the first miracle! Thanks to the software that they use streamlining to the right service has never been made so easy! Thank you CHECKR!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME CHEKR?!!!! IT SHOULD BE CALLED RUNINER OR NEVERR - I HAVE WAITED A MONTH AND STILL NO RESULTS... HOW IS THIS COMPANY EVEN IN OPERATION?!!!! THEY ARE SCREWING UP PEOPLES LIVES AND LIVELYHOOD... THEY ARE SEVERELY BEHIND IN THEIR PROCESS... WHY ARE COMPANIES SIGNING UP FOR THIS HORRIFFIC SERVICE... SHOULD IT NOT TAKE LESS TIME AND BE MORE PROFICENT - THIS COMPANY IS EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS

This company does everything to avoid providing support. Absolutely impossible to talk to a human, even for pre-sales support. No human help--just a crappy AI--and if you have the temerity to phone them, you're told you consent to receiving SMS messages. Horrible.
