This stupid service is supposed to check back 7 years but keeps reporting things over 20 years old which is getting me denied for DoorDash and even uber. When I was like 22 (now 42 years old) I was charged with credit card fraud 3rd degree for finding a macys credit card on the floor in Macys and trying to use it but it being declined. No jail time and was even expunged but they report it to Instacart, DoorDash, Uber and so on. They need to be investigated seriously… Thank God I have a Full-time job and was just looking for side jobs.. also have a GREAT DRIVING RECORD!! NO ACCIDENTS OR SERIOUS OFFENSES TO DISQUALIFY DELIVERING YOUR FOOD UPDATE: although this fraudulent company again reported to DoorDash something from the year 2000, DoorDash still hired and allowed me to deliver for them which tells me that these apps are on to checkr’s fraudulent practices. If this company is reporting old or inaccurate info on you, have faith that these apps like DoorDash are making their own judgements which is great!! Thanks DoorDash for seeing through checkr’s bull crap!!!

Checkr wasted 3 months of my time. I burned over 4000 dollars waiting for a job. The background check was “pending” in my own county. I asked if i could go get fingerprinted and get a copy of my records but they said I should just wait and sit tight. My job offer missed the start date deadline and I was left back at square one. I have never committed a crime and have no criminal record. In fact i had a background check done for firstadvantage within the same time frame and that came back immediately and i was cleared to work for that job(much less pay). Checkr is a terrible company that is costing lots of people time and money! Stay away!

I have been trying to dispute my motor vehicle report for weeks and there has been no progress. It doesn’t even make sense, they say my license is valid on the uber eats report but on the report to drive passengers it says my license is suspended and I can’t do anything. I haven’t been able to make money, theyre costing me my livelihood. To top it all off, when you call it’s just an automated system and no matter which button you press to match your issue, you NEVER actually speak to someone.

I am an Uber delivery driver partner. On my 3rd yr background check with Checkr turned very strange. 27 days ago, they run my background check in which my criminal, I got cleared but the driving abstract history they couldn’t release my result. I submitted my full history driving abstract from Hawaii State Judiciary but they said they couldn’t verify. It will take only less than 30 minutes to verify because Hawaii State Judiciary issue the result very quickly . Checkr said they have not get a reply. When I checked my name. Checkr put my last name as my first name and my last name they put my first and middle name all together as my first names. As a result after 27 days Checkr labeled my background check as suspended. The weird thing is my criminal Checkr got cleared but not my driving abstract. Uber is being hit by scammers for 90 days now and I wonder if these scammers are connected with Checkr. I am a victim of Uber scammers that appeared inside job. Scammers are retaliating on me for reporting them.

Wow!!! At least I am not a random mistake or issue. UNBELIEVABLE that anyone would trust a company that has over 100 one star reviews, AND ONLY ONE STAR REVIEWS. As others have stated all they do is review the documents you provide to your potential employer and God forbid YOU are the employer because you will lose potential great employees because you trust them to actually do the BASIC and I mean basic review of running a background check with someone's correct name. So many complaints of this "checkr" third party BGC and they can't even get their name correct. I have seen applications denied because they actually inputed the LAST name as first name, and first name as last name!! So in your face, Johnson Ashley, like really??? And instead of actually inputting the name provided on the identification as Ashlee Johnson for example, they take the liberty to input it backwards AND misspelled. Please take the time to read the hundreds of one star reviews. This third party "back ground check" company only delays your ability to hire or be hired due to their own in house mistakes. THERE IS ZERO customer service, zero! There is no way to dispute, oh wait, I take that back, there is a button you can press to "dispute" in the portal BUT Noone does anything to help you get assistance to actually have them follow through with the dispute and on top of that no way to upload any further documents they claim you didn't provide, when in actuality YOU DID. Do not pay for a subscription to these people to run back ground check for your potential employees. Do not run their free background check on yourself, it is Not free. It's a waste of time and money. I believe they get one star reviews because you can't give them NEGATIVE 5 stars.

Abysmal experience. Why would anyone use this 3rd party for background verification? The only thing they do is check the uploaded documents in the first place. I would much rather provide my documents directly to the interested party. On top of that, they randomly reject the checks, despite all the provided documents and the user has no way to dispute, provide additional documents, etc. Please avoid this thing! Why would you over complicate?

Uploaded required documentation. Still suspended my bg check. No way to dispute it or upload more documents. The website always loops you right back to the candidate portal leaving you exactly where you started in the first place. Awful website.

I will also join the 99.99% of Reviewers who gave this Inept company One Star( should be zero). Thirty days of the same Bot responses that goes in loops. By the time my background check comes back , I'll be retired. The sickest part is submitting Vital Personal information to this One star fraud. All I wanted was a second job. What a waste of time and hope.
