They put false information on my background check that caused me to be fired from my job of 5+ years

Probably the most incompetent background check company. Can't even run a simple SSN trace. Support is basically nonexistent. Take your business elsewhere like Sterling.

The reports are basic and worth nothing. They are unprofessional and I doubt if they even know what they are doing. This company should shut down and run a Taco place. After I run the BG check, the report was one pager and they don't have any option to provide any other information other than the nuggets which is worth only nuggets.

It's impossible to get ahold of anyone.

No customer service. Months waiting on background check that was incorrect. Unable to talk to anyone about fixing my report. Received email saying 30 days for a review, but it has now cost me my job. Will be speaking with an attorney about lawsuit soon. Checkr needs to be put out of business.

Checkr requested 2 pieces of ID which I provided. Waited 3 days for a response to be told that the ID had different names - Chris vs. Christopher. Apparently that confused them. They emailed requesting more ID ...including one with a photo. I'm not sure how he missed the picture on my drivers license? When I responded questioning his latest request, I was ignored. Fact: The same 2 pieces of ID I provided were the same ones I provided the RCMP for several criminal record checks. The police and my employers were able to identify me and determine my suitability to work with children and vulnerable youth, but apparently it's not good enough to deliver food using my own vehicle? I'm now concerned about identity theft from a Checkr employee. Avoid providing Checkr with any personal information at all costs - and let Door Dash know why you won't work for them.

If checkr doesn't have the means to hire more employees to answer calls and not make an individual wait for 3 hours that would probably be a great start. Their incompetence and unprofessional attitude towards customer service led me to not get hired "thank you for that checkr". Absolutely horrendous and I hope that all reputable establishments will cease their business operations with this pathetic excuse of a company.

On hold more than 2 hours on 2 seperate occasions and when u left a call back number they called back and it was a recording saying they were busy to call back at a different time. They flagged the account and didn't give any reason. I should sue them for loss of wages.
