First these folks are most expensive, you can get better prices at your local sporting goods store. I did business with them while visiting family, with the understanding delivery in under 14 days and before I returned home. Two days after purchase they changed delivery dates and would not return calls or emails. These folks are dishonest about shipping delivery dates, I sent inquiry email every day for 8 days in a row and they did not have the decency to reply to a single email. I returned to rural Alaska and still no delivery of my $305 purchase. Good news is I found exact same item at local sporting goods Store for $210. My next visit 6 months from now may have the over priced item from Cheaper the Dirt.

Our first order they said would be shipped within 3-4 days. When we didn't receive a shipping notice we called and they told us it would go out the next day, then we received an email saying it would be 3 weeks. We still haven't received a shipping notice. WE WON'T ORDER AGAIN.

Do not buy from this price gouging, place they only take advantage of customers. There are many other websites out there. Truth be told they aren't cheap anyway, but they sure are screwing people now.

I recently made my first and last purchase using Cheaper than Dirt. During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, they began selling extremely overpriced supplies ($50 for 500 rounds of .22LR). I thought this was extremely overpriced, but I decided to purchase anyway. A day later, I was able to purchase the same product for less than half the price. I promptly emailed them asking to cancel the order, as the online order was going to take at least 21 days to process (their words). They told me they were not willing to cancel the order. I strongly advise against dealing with this company as they won't work with you. They will also rip you off and price gouge during times of global crisis.

Placed an order for ammunition & received confirmation # for purchase. The following day they terminated my order & provided the following reason via email: "Cheaper Than Dirt has decided to not ship this item to your area due to potential legal and/or liability concerns". My "area" is mostly composed of minorities. I have a FOID card & I'm a law abiding natural born citizen. No legitimate reason(s) for terminating order. Contacted them via email, several days later, no response!! Would have given them zero stars if possible 🤯
