Just tried to purchase a batch of ammunition. They would not sell without a scanned copy of my driver's license to "prove my age". Since I try to prevent my info from getting out there without absolute necessity I refused. They had no alternative method, even after a phone call. Mind you I wouldn't be able to get a credit card it I wasn't at least 18..... Of course they say it would be deleted after review, but too many companies have been compromised when they say the same thing. If all the other 'big' companies will fulfill a sale with self verification, then why cant they? I see this as onerous, imposing privacy risks for a company they say supports exercise of the 2A.

Was looking into purchasing .223 ammo. The ammo was $12.89 for 20 rounds plus $2.78 in tax. I'm ok with that. I'm not OK with the $17.95 for shipping. Cheaper than dirt...not so much. I can get 250 rounds and the shipping is still $17.95. Bulk is the way to go.

I would have given 5 stars if the customer service wasn't crap. The prices arw decent the selection is decent. I don't like the fact i can't order a firearm with no reason why. Then there is the issue with the mag i ordered and because you can't ship to my state ( no disclaimer stating that) you don't issue a refund but rather a gift card that i can't use. I can't ckntact customer service and the chat feature doesn't work. And you split my order and dis not exactly notify me or present me with tracking information on the other shipment. I will find somewhere else to shop because wven Amazon has better service

They used to be a decent place to buy ammo, people wanting to buy from them should definitely shop around. Check out tx. Ammo or 2a warehouse. Cheaper than dirt should change there name.

Not sure where y'all are buying dirt, but, you can get it much cheaper than these guys are selling it for. Yes, I'm saying that the prices are very high. I ordered from them back years ago, before they got too carried away on the pricing. Everything was great, then. I guess that if nobody else has what you're looking for and you can't wait, this could be a last resort.

I was charged a restocking fee for an item that was returned unused with the tags still on it. The fee was 25% for a total of $43.59. For that amount I would have just kept the item. I am writing bad reviews until I get this resolved

Order 200 Winchester .556. Received 200 lose reloads in a Winchester box. They didn't never clean the brass will. Best to buy from another vendor.

Sorry, but there is nothing cheap about the pricing for CTD! I saw one promo for .223 range ammo at $9.99 which was limited to several boxes. When I continued shopping all the other items were double priced, ouch. Supply and demand??? I understand that concept and people being in business, I'm a small business owner so I get it. However, that only goes so far, a reasonable price increase is OK, but not jacking up your prices. You are not taking care of your customers and I doubt many will return with that policy. ...and then you charge for shipping, wow, you guys are killing it! Sorry, I've walked out of this store and purchased several times from other sources. Walk away folks, walk away!
