We live in an area filled with gravel trucks on every road. We have had 2 rock chips hit our windshield. The first one meant we had the windshield replaced and the second one was smaller and it was filled. We have noticed many times that smaller rocks have it the windshield and slid off not doing any damage. One call is all it took to place a claim.
