No need to give them a further review, they should have zero stars and all the bad reviews here are true. Can't deliver, can't give an ETA, don't have equipment. Once the product is delivered at their receiving depot, all communication fails. All the customer can do is pray and wait.

Completely unreliable, horrible customer service, and incapable of doing the service advertised. This company gave several BS excuses for their failed deliveries and offered no solutions to deliver my freight in a reasonable time. I pretty much feel like I have had thousands of dollars of my goods hijacked with no regard to the implications of their incompetence.

I sent thousands of catalogs to be received by my client with Central Transport, What a mistake that was. I ship freight all the time and usually use another carrier, but Central's price was lower this time and I figured what could go wrong. You get what you pay for. It's rule I typically use and I paid for not using it this time. There were five pallets and on each pallet 15-25 of sealed boxes. My client just knew they were getting five pallets. Well, 5 boxes were missing when my client they went to do a count. I was told 5-6 days later there was a shortage. The client recounted several times and were still short. I called Central to do a trace, yeah I'm sure they went all out on that one, guess what, they didn't find anything. I next filed a claim. What a complete waste of time. They came back with all sorts of regulations to hide behind their incompetence. They are the judge, jury and executioner, so like they're going to find out they're guilty and give away their money, what a joke. Bottom line is, I want people to know, if you ever use Central Transport, you are making a huge mistake, no matter the price. We worked for months on the artwork, proofs and printing for this job. We trusted this last portion of the job, taking it from point A to point B couldn't be screwed up, I could teach a monkey to it right, maybe i should have hired a monkey, I trust them more than Central. They don't have a clue on doing business with ethics and pride and I hope they pay the price as I will personally put the word out wherever I can to warn people to stay away.

Absolutely the WORST company to deal with! 4 shipments using them and three have either been lost or weeks late! First shipment arrived on a lift gate (as requested) on time, no issues. Second shipment was lost for over 3 weeks due to them putting it on the wrong truck and ending up in Ft. Worth, TX (we are in NC) and had been sitting on the dock while they "couldn't find it". I even sent them pictures of what the boxes look like and they ignored them. Same excuse every time. "unfortunately we have not found it". And, no lift gate. We paid for lift gate service without an offer of a refund and the driver told us we would have to "refuse" the order and they would have to take it back and re-load on a lift gate and may get it in another week or so. Third delivery was a week late and, no lift gate, again. Again, same response from the driver. Fourth....Shipped out of Cambridge, OH on Friday, March 26, delivery scheduled for Wednesday, March 31. Arrived in Rocky Mt, NC on March 31 (mind you, Rocky Mt. is about an hour away from us) and has been sitting on the dock while they keep pushing the delivery date out day by day telling us "unfortunately we don't have a lift gate truck in your area, today". And, "well, sir. your pallet won't be there today" and will hang up. Customer service SUCKS (or lack, thereof). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SHIPMENTS UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE IF AND WHEN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR ITEMS DELIVERED! These people wouldn't know customer service if it jumped up and bit them on their useless @$$!

Hi had to give it one star I would give it 0 stars if I could this company sucks does not deliver in a timely manner keeps putting delivery dates off for 5 days I would never use this company.

Stay away from this company. This is by far the worst shipping and transporter in the US. They take your money and just lie to you about picking your cargo. Beware and stay away. Pay more for a more competent company. Its worth it in the end.

I have a shipment that was supposed to arrive 4 days ago. They were supposed to bring it this morning. It is 11:30 and I am still waiting. Called customer service , waited on hold times for over 15 minutes each time. Terrible company.

This company will delay your shipment . My material got at their state local terminal on Friday. They suppose to delivery on Monday as they state on their website , than Tuesday...Wednesday...now Friday...This company think they do not need their customers and they can do what they want...Unreliable to the extreme.
