I rented a car through them and was made to buy additional insurance on arrival. Has to take as stuck with three kids and had to get to accommodation. ( plus had already paid a fair whack) Easy jet proport a load of disclaimers by buying through third party. I was totally exploited - car now cost ridiculous amount and twice what it should. I am now reading about everyone else having poor experience though goldcar. Disappointed in Easy jet for being part of what is a scam and totally misleading its customers. Will be seeking legal advice - disgraceful. Knew we should have used TUi for our holiday as we usually do

I rented a car from sixt through easyjet car hire (my flight was with them as well). When i went to pick up the car the sixt employee told me that they could not give me the car since I had a cypriot driving license with my name in greek and not an IDL. I have been renting cars in the UK for the last 30 years and no rental company refused my cypriot driving license. Sixt told me that easyjet car will refund the money to me so I rented a car from Avis (it took 5 minutes) . Now easyjet refuses to refund the money to me!!!! They will keep the money even though sixt will refund the money to them. On the other end sixt sent me an email stating that since they did not give me the car they did not receive the funds for the rental. Note that under the terms and conditions of my car hire it was stated that all eu countries driving licenses are accepted without further preconditions. Since then i reported the case to BVRLA and sixt compensated me (they admitted that they could verify my name in greek with my ID) for the additional cost of renting from another company at a higher cost and they also gave me a compensation as a gesture of goodwill. Thus i am very pleased with their fair approach and I will rent from them again. However i am still waiting for a refund from easyjet … since i did not receive the service even though I met the T&Cs of my car hire (eu driving licenses should be accepted without preconditions). Note that easyget acting as an agent gets 5-10% commission and they are trying to keep 100% of the amount i paid for the rental….. The case with easyjet goes on If needed i will hire a lawyer

a éviter , sauvez vous .... Accueil déplorable ! Aucune explication valable ! Aucune empathie! Nous avions loué une voiture à Palerme , le permis de conduire de mon mari était déchiré ... Impossible de changer de nom du conducteur , pourtant nous avions le chat en direct qui nous disait que c'était possible ! Des voleurs ! Comment avec toutes nos technologies ne peut on pas changer le nom du conducteur sur un contrat de location ! On a du repayer une location chez un autre loueur!

As a result of a 2 hour delay caused by Easyjet on an evening flight I was unable to collect my hire care at Manchester airport as the office closed at 12.30am. I was stranded at Manchester and had to book an overnight hotel, losing my other hotel booking in Preston. In the morning I went to the hire car company and was told my booking was cancelled as a no show and my £470 was lost. I was forced to take out a new rental at £370. They told me this was Easyjets problem and I should take it up with them as the car was booked through them. After several phone calls and emails, Easyjet Car Trawler are stating no refund is due as it was an upgrade. Complete rubbish. I did not request an upgrade. This company is a joke and the customer support department just look for reasons to deny their liability. I have now put a claim in through my credit card company. Under the Montreal Convention I believe I am due damages caused by this flight delay. I also called Easjet and the Car Rental company Drivilia on the evening of the flight expressing my concerns about the increasing flight delay time. No accountability from Drivilia or Easyjet here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Une honte, n'ont pas voulu nous laisser la voiture, bien que payé pour un problème de prénom du conducteur sur les papiers. laissant une famille avec 2 enfants en bas âge à pied dans un aéroport et une ville inconnue. Aucun remboursement car c etait a nous de mettre le bon prenom. Il n était pas possible de changer le prénom du conducteur sur place sauf si on déboursait encore 600 euros!!!!! Une honte pour l'humanité. Incroyable mais vrai. A LA RUE ILS NOUS ONT LAISSÉ, AVEC UN BÉBÉ. A éviter absolument. Et pas la peine de me répondre que vous êtes désolé mais que c était bien précisé qu il fallait que le prénom soit le même sur tous les papiers. Le loueur nous a dit que lui ne toucherai rien de vous car la voiture n a pas ete récupérée et que vous alliez nous rembourser mais vous vous cachez derriere de l administratif sauf bien sur si on paye 600e, pfff quelle honte pour l'humanité .Vous êtes des voleurs.

A fuir J'ai loué un véhicule chez ok mobility à Barcelone à l'aéroport en prenant le véhicule on me dit ma carte bancaire ne passe pas et la seul solution pour récupérer le véhicule est de prendre l'assurance à 355 euros c'est du vol et easy jet sans moque à par sortir leur phrase nous sommes navré et leur baratin a fuir absolument ne jamais passer par easy jet et éviter ok mobility veulent rien savoir 0 solution on se trouve piégé c'est des escrocs

I booked 3 flights with easyJet for 3 passengers and was offered to book a rental as well. I decided to rent a car for 350€ but unfortunately, the app assigned the wrong passenger as the driver. When picking up the car, I was asked to provide the driving licence of the person that the app had assigned but it was my mother who is 88yo and didn’t have a driving licence. As a result I had to book another car for 870€ and called I called EasyJet Car Rental support center that refused to pay back the car rental. Instead of paying 350€, the total rental cost was 359+870=1220€ for a smaller car. My advice : never rent a car on EasyJet Car Rental : it’s very unclear and there is zero support. Im furious !!!!

Une horreur ! À éviter à tout prix ! Des escrocs qui alors que le vol Easy jet a été annulé ne rembourse pas la location de voiture contractée par leur intermédiaire ils proposent un avoir sur une prochaine location dans les 2 ans Une véritable escroquerie quand on sait que leur service client incapable d'aider suite à l'annulation du vol car très compliqué à joindre par mail et watsapp, services totalement incompétents étant incapable de m'aider a changer mon contrat de location avis dans la gare ferroviaire où je suis arrivée suite à l'annulation du vol Easy jet Par mail la personne m'a dit s'en occuper puis silence total Par whatsapp j'ai eu 6 interlocuteurs différents qui ont fini par couper la conversation alors que nous semblions aboutir J'ai finalement reloué une voiture chez avis qui ne pouvait rien faire concernant mon contrat avis pris par l'intermédiaire de Easy jet ! En plus d'un double coût Une véritable honte et escroquerie À éviter à tout prix 😱😱😱😱😱
