I recently had a trip to Malaga, which I do frequently to visit family, always picking up a car rental at the airport due to their remote location. This time my flight landed at 12.30am, so naturally I gave myself a 30min window to get down to the car rental part in the airport. I requested a car at 1am which easyjet agreed to and took my money, which means they entered a contract to fulfill its promise of supplying a car. They obviously didn't ever end up fulfilling their promise however as the car hire desk is shut at 1am. They also told me the car hire company was Dollar. Which does not have a car hire desk in the airport. Perhaps Dollar car rental exists under another company name? But they obviously didnt think this information was required. Easyjet car hire stranded me at the airport at 1am with no way to get to my destination after I relied on them to supply a car. So tell me EASYJET where is Dollar car hire? what are you going to do about the fact that I had to spend the night at the airport until 7am where I then rebooted another car NOT THROUGH EASYJET, with a car rental company which is at the airport. I have requested a refund, and will complain about your contracted duties to fullfill a carhire promise when I can find where on all your bullshit I complain too.

Scammers. Booked online and was encouraged by the website multiple times to add my flight details so that if the flight was delayed the rental office would be aware and hold onto the car. However, every time i tried to do this, THE EASYJET WEBSITE changed the correct arrival time I had entered, to an incorrect time several hours too early. However, as the whole point of adding the flight details was so that the rental company could check the flight arrival time if I was later than expected, and I as I was encouraged to do this, it seemed logical this would be okay. Oh no. On arrival, they did not have my car available “because I was late”. I was forced to pay extra for a bigger car that I did not want or need. When I complained to EasyJet and pointed out that it was their OWN WEBSITE which had caused this issue and that I had acted entirely as instructed by them, they told me the error was my fault! They had no concern or interest in investigating and rectifying the issue which their website had caused, so I have to conclude that they are more than happy for other customers to fall victim to the same issue. I can only therefore assume that this is a deliberate ploy on their part. I would say that this is appalling customer service, but in view of the above I have to conclude that as it appears to be deliberate it is possibly an intentional fraud?

NEVER EVER EVER BOOK WITH THRIFTY CAR RENTAL THROUGH EASYJET If you value your sanity - PLEASE DO NOT - I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK A CAR RENTAL WITH THRIFTY - especially in ALICANTE AIRPORT. They will try to trick you and try to cheat you using every possible means to get to take their insurance even when you have clearly stated you do not want it. THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVERY HAD WITH A CAR RENTAL COMPANY.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR CAR HERE Asked the customer service chat if we could rent a car with our bankcard. Yes. Transcription of the conservation is received. But when we arrived it was not possible to rent with a bankcard. We could not undo the booking en do not get a refund. Even when we have in writing that we can use a bankcard from the customer service chat.

EasyJet flight was late as usual and so I rang the Europcar office where EasyJet had booked me with and said I was on my way and they just said 'we are closing' come back tomorrow! This was 11.30pm and I was staying an hour away from the airport so I had to get a taxi instead. They are not refunding me

Absolute scam. I booked a car rental for a week through Easyjet when I was booking my flight and had truly the worst customer service experience from both Easyjet and the car rental company that they signed me up to (Goldcar - NEVER AGAIN). I never received the rental car and Easyjet are refusing to refund me the hundreds of pounds I paid to secure it. Completely unacceptable and I will never be using Easyjet (car rental or flights) again.

Terrible terrible experience!! All the car rentals they have under their name seem to be a scam from what I’m reading. We booked carwiz through easyJet. Paid upfront and they told us they had no cars when we arrived. No solutions from them after being on the phone for an hour with a screaming baby. Had to rent another car from someone else. Very upsetting experience. Avoid both!!!!

Zero stars! Gutted I didn’t read the TrustPilot before going with EasyJet car rentals. They subcontracted our rental to Goldcar. We arrived at Palma airport in Mallorca, and I waited over an hour to speak to the front desk while my young family waited. When I got to the front, the staff member told me I couldn’t have the electric car I’d booked because it only had a range of 50-70kms and my hotel was 80kms away (I looked it up later and the range is more like 200kms). They then refused to offer me a petrol car at the price I’d booked the electric car for, and made me pay £100 to upgrade to a larger car. To cap it off, they were rude and unpleasant. In the end, after 90 minutes I gave up and paid the ‘upgrade’ fee. I raised this with both Goldcar and EasyJet multiple times, and they refused to offer any apologies or compensation. I suggest people avoid both companies - same conclusion as most other customers on TrustPilot. Disgraceful!
