I paid in full for a car hire through easyJet Cars with OK Mobility and never got the car. No shuttle turned up, nobody answered the phone, and when I finally made it to the counter my prepaid car had been given to someone else. Then they charged me again for a different one. No refund, no apology, just dismissive staff and customer service that couldn't care less. The other reviews show I'm far from alone. In my experience this is the worst car hire company I've ever used. They leave you stranded and keep your money. Book anywhere else.

I booked car rental with Easyjet, so I was expecting the hire car pick up to be coordinated with my flight arrival. I was travelling from Belfast to Alicante. My flight arrived on time at 22.22, I disembarked passed through Passport control and made my way to where I was to get a shuttle bus to the car hire firm which was outside the airport, it probably took my 30mins to get there. There was no shuttle bus and I waited what seemed a long time. I rang their office but just got a voice mail at an international call. Continued to wait. Contacted Easyjets chat bot explaining my situation. Then I noticed that the pickup time for the hirecar was 22.15, 7 minutes before my flight was due to arrive, so it was impossible that I could have got the the shuttle bus pickup point on time. I told Easyjet I wanted to make a complaint. Then I paid 92 euros to get me to my destination. No hire car, which had been paid for. Next day Easyjet replied washing their hands of the matter. I felt they were to blame because they are supposed to coordinate the hire car pick up time, but the pickup time was impossible even with the flight on time. I would like my hire car fee refunded, and my taxi payment refunded

I booked car hire through Easy Jet for a trip to Marseille. I became aware the day before through text instructions that the car hire company RentScape were off site from the airport and needed complimentary bus service to their offices. This happened after several phone calls that had not been answered and a long wait at the airport. The car I was given was dirty apparently due to problems with their car wash. On my return they found a tiny mark on the black part of rear bumper which could have been easily missed at time of collection and on the video I took of the car at the point of collection. They took £800 from my deposit which I didn’t find out until I got home. Luckily I had taken out extra insurance also paid for through Easy Jet which I am still waiting for reimbursement over a week later and finding it impossible to contact to get an update. Never again will I book car hire through Easy Jet.

Booked a small car for 4 days via Easyjet site; for collection at Belfast International airport. I had taken out at booking an extra insurance policy to cover any excesses - should I need a repair. At rental desk- Dollar/ Hertz; I was asked foe deposit on my credit card around £xxxx. My limit was £less. I contacted credit card company to increase my limit - but that would take 2 working days to be confirmed. Option cancel or pay for their insurance £94.95 And a holding deposit of £ 176.05 on fuel!! Total paid for my 4 day hire of small car: £261.93!!! The representative was 100% uncaring.Once i got to the pick up point i could scarcely menouvre car out of parking spot - due to a paticular car being poorly parked. I took 16 pictures around and in car as i now had the fear of god in me - thanks to the desk representative However, via the QR code I could only submit 4 pictures. I then had to e mail customer services and tell them what was happening and add 12 more photos. No confirmation - so spent my short break stressing what i might be met with on return. No one showed me how car worked - eg how fuel cap opened - another stressful issue prior to car drop off. However 10?10 to the lovely fellow at drop off. Pleasant and efficient.An elderly man who was ar rental desk at the same time was being scare mongered into purchasing more and more form Dollar / Hertz. NEVER AGAIN.NO STARS.

travelled on EasyJet flight EZY33 from Belfast International to Birmingham Airport on 12 October 2026, with a scheduled departure of 20:55. What should have been a straightforward short-haul service was significantly compromised by operational shortcomings that reflected poorly on the airline’s planning and passenger care. Passengers boarded the aircraft on time and were seated ready for departure. However, the flight did not depart as scheduled due to the unavailability of crew. We remained on board for a prolonged period while EasyJet attempted to assemble sufficient staff at the last minute. No clear or timely communication was provided regarding the cause of the delay or the expected resolution. This situation demonstrated a lack of adequate contingency planning. Boarding passengers when the airline was not in a position to operate the flight resulted in unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time for everyone on board. Holding passengers on the aircraft while management sought to resolve a foreseeable staffing issue is both inefficient and disrespectful of customers’ schedules. In my view, this incident highlights systemic weaknesses in EasyJet’s crew rostering and operational readiness. Passengers should reasonably expect that a scheduled commercial flight will depart with the required personnel in place. On this occasion, that basic standard was not met. I would advise prospective travellers to factor in the possibility of similar disruptions when considering EasyJet for time-sensitive journeys

Very disappointing and stressful experience I booked the car through easyJet Car Rental, but Autovia refused to hand it over because my full name was not completely printed on my Visa card. The card only allows 19 characters for the name, while my full name is longer. I have had this Visa card for more than 20 years, it has a very high credit limit, and I have never had any problem using it anywhere before. For the first time in over 20 years, I was effectively told that my genuine credit card was not acceptable and its authenticity was questioned simply because my full name did not fit on the card. Even more absurdly, the exact same card was accepted immediately afterwards by another rental company at the neighbouring counter. This caused unnecessary stress at the very beginning of our trip and seriously affected the mood of our holiday. Such unusual conditions should be made extremely clear before booking. Situations like this also leave the uncomfortable impression that customers may be pushed towards more expensive alternatives or additional insurance products. I cannot prove that this is intentional, but that is certainly how the experience felt. After this experience, I would not book a rental car through easyJet Car Rental again.

Car hire company didn’t refund all fuel deposit despite showing a receipt at hire desk and then confirming ok (in line with terms and conditions). I sent a photograph of receipt to EasyJet showing fuel receipt 2 miles from airport and 10mins before drop off time. EasyJet customer service stated I needed a time stamped receipt to investigate. Car rental t+c’s didn’t require this.

Do not book your rental through easyjet!!!! We had to cancel due to hidden costs we were unaware of when we went to collect the car. They use cartrawler as a 3rd party source...absolute scammers! We wasnt able to get any of our money back for the rental. We were then stranded at the airport with no car and wondering how we were going to get to our appartment. Book direct with a rental company, its not worth it, you will be ripped off in the end!!
