My first Carnival Cruise was in May, 2012 when I sailed out of San Juan and visited the southern portion of the Caribbean. Four years later, I had earned the Platinum status (75 nights on Carnival). Needless-to-say, I’m sold on Carnival. The activities ( mainly trivia), the foods (I love their omelets), the entertainment, the good natured crew and the overall upbeat feeling generated ship wide have convinced me to be a patron for life.

If I can give zero star I would! We got bite by bedbug all over our body and could not even go to the pool. I feel uncomfortable to wear a bathing suit when my body have red spot all over. I inform Gusti who is the one cleaning our room to change the sheet out but apparently we still got new bite mark showing up every day. Second, the dining room (wind star) smelling like a sewer every night while we having dinner. YUCK! Lastly, we got insulted, humiliate, falsely accused while we were on board by another passenger that we do not know. She said that she heard our conversation with another group about how we have illegal drug and we can get it transfer over to them. Please keep in mind that my fiancee and I was the only one cruising so why we go to a group that we dont know asking them if they want some drug! How do I know if they not just cop who on vacation like seriously? Carnival security apparently did not investigate the report before heading to our room knocking at my door. I know dame well they have cameras through out the boat but they cant go back and look the footage before coming to us. Not only that they called custom cops on us on the day we getting ready to disembark off the boat. Having the k-9 in the room and yelling at us like they have evidence or any footage of us doing it. After the search they came out apologize and left like it was nothing. I called carnival to file a complaint about everything and they told me they will inspect the room and contact me back. So of course they come back and said they found no bedbug because it their reputation and trying to find a way not to compensate me. I got photo to proof that I was bite all over but they dont want the picture. That the answer right their guys! From this day on I will let everyone know how disgusting I am with carnival on how they treated their customer. This is the first and last time I will cruise with them. I rather spend my money elsewhere where they treated us better. I will also let social media know all about this so people can be precaution on cruising with them!

I have traveled with them on several occasions. The service has been great. The food without complaint.The staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with their service.The cabins have always met my expectations.On several occasions I have received upgrades without request based on my previous trips.

Canceled crusie due to poor customer service. Over the phone was a horrible experience. I just asked for upgrades and they could not accomadate. I just started paying and was up to $4K when I realized they were not going to get a dime from me. Well of course they charged me $149 for cancellation. I would of paid double. I've heard bad things about Carnival and I'm glad I bailed when I did.

Was a great family vacation. My kids loved the kids camp and my youngest who is 4 is asking to go back to the ship. Only downside was the ship we were on was a bit out dated and old.

We are pleading for the cancellation to be reverse to a special circumstances. My Aunt of old age decided to back out of the cruise not too long ago . We are expected to Cruise August 30 till September 7th on Legend Mediterranean cruise. She felt that it would be best if she stay back and let me and my future husband celebrate our honeymoon. He booked a cruise too by himself. But had to consolidate to one room since she decided not to go. I was thinking it would not a hefty penalty because it is for a good cause. This is our booking number 8SMM55 and 9RTT25. I would really appreciate if I would get a positive response and give a $50 penalty instead of $400. This review is based on my last cruise experience. I've been on 3 carnival cruises and the first 2 were ok but the last cruise was horrible. The Sensation ship should be put to rest. This cruise is a 5 day nightmare. The food was terrible. The non alcoholic beverages were terrible. The free water was terrible. It taste like it was recycled. The service was so so. The entertainment was okay. Nothing was amazing on this trip. Matter of fact this was the worst vacation I'd ever been on in my life because of this cruise. To add insult to injury my cabin had bed bugs. And do you think they did anything about it. ABSOLUTELY NOT! They had no empathy, definitely no sympathy and no one even apologized about my horrible experience. Even after I showed them all my bites and a video of the bed bug on the bed it's self they disregarded it as if it was a figment of my imagination. I will NEVER EVER give carnival cruise a dime of my money ever again!!!
