The Care Patrol service here in the Sarasota franchise chapter was excellent. Marie Hutchinson (manager) took my call and I was later connected to Julie Miller (Seniors Adviser, ie associate) upon which I'm indebted to her service to our family. Julie was always available and apt to respond to my questions even by text which was my preferred mode of communication. To nitpick with a 4-star rating is we were originally only going to go and tour two facilities. I asked for at least three instead. The 1st facility was moreso out of our price range. But the latter two were completely inline thankfully. I'm sure this is unconscious of Julie and is a defense mechanism of working in the healthcare industry after dealing with so many clients over her tenure. But, Julie seemed distant with her shields up. As an empath myself I sensed that right away. Nonetheless, Julie's charm and kindness were clearly self-evident all throughout her excellent service for our family. Thank you Care Patrol of Sarasota for your aid when it was paramount for our family.

Eric did a great job of listening to our needs and then seeking facilities that aligned with those. He helped narrow and assess the options, and select the facility in which we think my father will thrive and receive the best care.

Jeremy was instrumental in finding the best place for my aunt. I had been trying on my own and could not find the right place. He knew right away which options to pursue and which to cross off the list. We ended up transitioning her into a wonderful assisted living which I had not found in my own searches. He is patient, kind and really knows the inside out of each place. He was available to go with me everywhere and answer my questions right away. I give him the highest recommendation possible!

Care Patrol, was sort of helpful. I think had our situation been a bit different, we might have had a better experience. One thing I found out after we had set up care patrol, is that HOSPICE also does this kind of house finding. The person who set up the homes to be viewed was late showing up. We ended up looking at homes number 1 and 3 (a few blocks apart), and 2 further away. After waiting for half an hour at the first home, I finally asked one of the people from the facility to give us a tour. Then we went to the third house, which was a horrible choice (so I felt like our CarePatrol person had not done any previewing herself. The home was smelly, dirty and some parts of it unsafe for elderly residents. As we were leaving that home, the person from CarePatrol finally called us. She was able to meet us at the third home. We were happy with the 3rd home. Honestly, I didn't feel comfortable with the way in which matters continued to go. I just had a sense that her underlying motivation was money. (you can always smell desperation) It's done, they were able to help us. In the end if we had needed to look past the 3 homes that she had arranged to show us, I probably would have switched over to using hospice as our agent to locate a home.

I was in a very difficult position. I quickly needed an assisted living facility for my relative. Enter Care Patrol. They were knowledgeable, confident, friendly and understanding. They quickly assessed the situation and helped me find the right place with the right price. They really listened to our needs. Care Patrol saved me countless hours of searching and calling facilities. They made a difficult situation easy and actually enjoyable. I highly recommend them.

We simply could not have found the caring facility for mom without Jamie’s help. We were lost and he truly stepped in and made everything right. Thank you, Jamie.
