Amy Herrick was our partner from CarePatrol while our family was looking for an Assisted Living residence for our mother. It was a stressful time since her fall which made her current living conditions unsuitable due to stairs. Amy spent so much time with us answering questions and offering her expertise. She took the time to really understand our situation and help us through this process. We found what we believe to be a very caring and dignity saving residence for our mom. She is slowly settling in, but acclimating nicely. Thank you Amy for all of your thoughtful and caring help. We couldn't have done this without you.

Amidst this COVID -19 crisis, the CarePatrol helped my family to find a fantastic assisted living facility for my 81-year-old mother. My Mom was in the hospital before the fourth of July. The hospital gave us one day to transition her to an assisted living facility over the fourth of July weekend. Kristen M. from CarePatrol was instrumental in helping my Mom to her current living situation. Kristen took the time to find out about my Mom and find us several places to look review. Kristen also was a GREAT advocate for my Mom and our family. Hospitals are not always worried about where an elderly patient will be going after their stay at the hospital. The hospital my Mom was at didn't care; they just wanted my Mom out and gave us one day to make this happen. Before being at the hospital, my Mom was at a rehab facility due to a fall. A spontaneous bleed brought her to the hospital. Once the bleeding stopped, and my Mom decided not to go through any more surgeries, the hospital was ready to put her back to the rehab facility. At this rehab facility, my Mom had missed meals, the staff didn't dress my Mom until mid-morning most days, and getting help to go to the restroom was a challenge for my Mom. As a family, we felt this facility was not a safe place for my Mom to return to, and as a family, we voiced this to the hospital. The hospital didn't consider our concerns initially and continued to pressure us to put my Mom back at this rehab facility. Thanks to Kristen, who advocated for my Mom. I believe Kristen is the person who spoke to the hospital and was the catalyst to get my Mom to stay over the holiday weekend in the hospital until a room was available at a more appropriate assisted living facility. I can't thank Kristen enough for the support she gave my family. In addition to the work on the front end, Kristen did for my family. She stayed connected with my family to ensure the transition went well. Wow-I was amazed at this service. Kristen's compassion and encouragement assured us at a time of upheaval. Kristen was doing so much work behind the scenes to make this experience go smoothly for my Mom. I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking for the right place for your elderly relative. Kristen is amazing. My family will be indebted to her for advocating and doing the right thing on behalf of my Mom.
