Mixed Experience. Dr. Lee was awesome and took her time answering all of my questions. Incredible bedside manner, and didn't rush me. However, I was told I needed to schedule a $280 gum cleaning (which I know is common) but then the actual cleaning that I paid for only involved them squirting my gums with an anti-bacterial solution. That's it. Their site claims "no scraping", but that also means no brushing and no flossing. Just water. That's hardly a cleaning. And anyone would "require" additional cleaning after being water picked. Except now it conveniently costs more than the membership itself. Also, they claim on their website to provide a 40-50% discount for referred fillings. This discount only applies to the NYU student dentists, so if you're not comfortable with that - you'll pay full price. And their AI receptionist is awful. It scheduled me appointments in locations that I never asked for. Very weird.

I basically only have positive things to say about the experience. I’ll start with the one negative because it’s so minuscule. It pays in comparison to the rest of the experience. The check-in process felt a bit nerve-racking. You sign in via an iPad, kiosk, and sit there hoping that your sign in was noted by a receptionist somewhere. you get a text telling you that it’s been received. however, after five minutes of not being seen, you start to wonder if the team is behind, or if you should go see what’s going on. This happened with me and another patient. We were sitting there like “what happens now”. Nbd. The rest of the experience was impeccable. I don’t remember the title of the woman who came and got me, but she was friendly and inviting from the start. She took my blood pressure, did my x-rays, and did my 3-D scan. She was communicative about everything she did before she did it. She was an effortless conversationalist. It didn’t feel like small talk that felt like pulling teeth, no pun intended That took 30 minutes and then I met my hygienist, Daisy. Daisy was just as great as the first woman. She had a great sense of humor, was very communicative about every procedure, and was reassuring about the experience. Everything done was comfortable, it felt clean, it was efficient. Wally is a great business model for anyone like myself who knows they have healthy teeth and who essentially only need routine cleanings as preventative measures. It’s a no-brainer for $149. I plan to go every month if my schedule allows it and my gums don’t wither away.

Chathalia was very thorough and super helpful in explaining what she was looking for and found during my cleaning. She checked in multiple times to ask about my comfort level.

BEWARE! Leaving your card on file will leave you in the negative. Paid the $149. Went in for one cleaning. My card now has $750, $95 and $75 charges. My account is now -$32. And its the loneliest experience. They use AI for customer service. So they see real people, take real money but you dont get the respect of being treated like a human to have someone to talk to. Long story short….Wally is a AI dental service. Stay far away. Im waiting on my bank to get back to me about the disputed charges. *edit* I guess it would be fair to actually review the service. You walk in, and there is no reception area. You are greeted by a tablet on a stand that asks you to check in. There was a lil wait. You are then brought into a large room with multiple dental chairs and dividers. They check your ph balance and blood pressure. They take a 3d scan and x rays. All the machinery are on carts with wheels and they come to you. You do not move. Someone comes to you to discuss the xrays and possible cavities and such. Then you are seen by the hygienist who does what they call a cleaning. They tell you that there are unlimited cleanings and whitening, right? Well the whitening is something that you order when you leave, they dont actually do it there. And the cleaning really is more of a power wash. Just keep in mind though, the only way to speak to a human is to go to a location. There is no possible way to get an actual person to speak to on the phone.
