I have tried the other agencies and got no results. Care came through for me.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but parents should be aware of my experience with Care.com. I signed up looking for childcare assistance and was immediately charged for a membership and additional fees that were not clearly disclosed during the sign-up process. As soon as I noticed the charges, I contacted Care.com, canceled my account, and requested a refund. I never used the service. I did not contact caregivers, post a job, exchange messages, or receive any benefit from the membership. Despite canceling immediately and never using the service, Care.com refused to issue a refund. What made the situation even more frustrating was how difficult it was to get help. It was nearly impossible to speak with a live representative, and my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. As a single parent, I find it incredibly disappointing that a company serving families would refuse a refund under these circumstances. I made every effort to resolve the issue directly and in good faith. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Care.com and would encourage parents to carefully review all charges before signing up.

I was searching for nanny jobs and I was on the home page but all the positions were 15-20 miles away. Not convenient! And also, families would never contact me. Finally, I call Care.command talked with a staff and was told to use filters and since then, everything has changed. I can look at positions closer from home and also, I get contacted by families. So much better. However, I still think that the positions don’t offer a good enough pay.

I like the fact that we can private message but the fact when you apply then it has more suggestions for jobs the suggest more jobs to apply for it doesnt allow you to view the job description before applying Also dont like the fact that you dont make people respond to applications it states read but the app should make families looking state yes no maybe or ill come back to this person later communication in the app is horrible goes days without hearing if not weeks the app should require families seeking a nanny/childcare respond within a reasonable time frame.

I have used Care.com for several years now. Besides word of mouth, it is where all of my housekeeping and pet care clients have come to me. Although there are a few glitchy aspects here and there, it has been wonderful. The reviews some of my clients left have helped others find and feel comfortable with me. The messaging capability is very nice for potential clients and I to decide if we have the basics of what the other needs before exchanging phone numbers. I can't say I have had much luck at all in reaching out to people for jobs. They almost never get back to me. But, I have kept my schedule full just from people reaching out to me. The platform is visually appealing, and the many optional ways in which it can be used is customizable to each person's needs. I've been very happy with Care.com over the years.
