Care.comReviews of care.com

Care.com has been great, I have really enjoyed being able to look for jobs that suit my interests and that families are also able to view my personal profile. The app is easy to use and very straight forward. I have been using care.com for years and I have never had a problem, I appreciate that they take the proper safety precautions to make sure that me and the family I am communicating with are verified, that makes me feel secure and safe. I really enjoy this app and will continue to use It I recommend anyone that is looking for work or looking for any other services to check it out.

Care.com has provided me reliable links with multiple families who have been wonderful employers for me! Care.com’s format is easy to navigate and provides the necessary information for choosing families who could be a good fit for me. The recent software update has made Care.com even more beneficial!

Very easy screening process. Screened 14 applicants. Narrowed to 6 then to 3 and hired 1😊 So far so good!

I rated my experience at Care.com a 3/5 because yes the job was great getting to work with different families whenever they needed backup care. But as I was leaving the job the job was not helpful at all. My supervisor was like not helpful in leaving. I made it clear after I graduated I was going to be looking for a job within my career field. It also wasn’t clear to me that I would not getting my sick time hours I accrued over the past year. So that money went down the drain. I signed the employee handbook 3 years ago I don’t remember what it said. So to me it just left a sour taste in my mouth during my process of leaving.

I was attempting to use Care.com for a tutor. I paid the fee but then realized that a $60 plus fee for some premium package was added. I called to have it removed. A refund was issued for the additional fee. Then I realized that I could no longer access the system. It said I had to pay again. I also received a notice that my whole account was canceled but a refund was not issued for the subscription. I received a phone from a number I had not seen telling me if I wanted to access my account had to provide her my date of birth which I had never been asked for before. I refused until someone could explain why it was needed. I got disconnected. The number she called from did not work so I called the help number again. Got someone else that kept telling me my account was active and that I could log in. When I explained I couldn’t he said that I could and there was no issue. When I tried to log in I was told I had to pay. I called back again to request a supervisor and shared the reference number for my account being canceled and was told that I had received the refund for the premium add on and they canceled my account even though I had not asked to cancel my account. I am not out three times of the refund and cannot get my money back for an account I did not asked to cancel but was canceled by your team. Was told that someone would call me back in 2-3 business days. This makes the service useless because I wanted to have someone hired by them. What a fraud.

Use Care.com at your own risk. Signed up as a caregiver, this platform is 100% about them making money, not about helping others seek or find care. Went and found their google review - 2 stars. I wish i would have known that, I never should have given them my money.

The care.com nurses aide Brittany I hired. She was wonderful, on time, supportive and caring.

Care is a great place to find loving and trustworthy care for pets!
