They will terminate your account without telling you why. You will loose everything and your account will be closed without anything. I believe many of the job postings are fake as you never get a response. Probably care posts them to make you think there are many families on the website but it is actually not true. You can't do pretty much anything without paying for membership. They take FOREVER to approve your profile, until six days (no care, no 72 hours). And then, they will close your account. This is such a horrible service. Now, they are asking you your ssn. I can't imagina with all of the horrible things they do that now they will be able to have this information from you. Use another app, they are way better than this.

I have spent hours looking for people to no avail. They all send you messages and jump at the job and then once you reach out, they never respond. I'm so sick of wasting hours trying to contact someone, and they don't respond. I can't tell you how many people apply and then say they are super interested, and then never respond? like, WTH?! I absolutely hate care.com I've truly had better luck posting on moms forums on Facebook....oy!

I just detached myself from this subterfuge. What a convoluted bs irritation. If they were just up front that you must pay a fee to communicate with anyone, it would be simple. It took me days of piecing it all together "applying" to several "jobs" and not even a reply and several email attempts to get straight answers. All to figure out the ruse is "free to apply for any jobs" YES BUT YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY OFFER OR ACCEPT OR COMMUNICATE WITH THE PERSON. They make it seem like a basic membership gives you the ability to get a job walking a dog or whatever. Na-Na. All carrots. When the last email answer said that upgrading will allow perspective employers to gain better "access" to me, I knew. I called and 33 min later no had still picked up...they called back 2 hours later. Painfully I pulled the direct answers from the (new?) rep. The other person wasn't upgraded to 20$/month, nor was I. No one can connect. I had even paid for a background check!! They couldn't have given me the full story then?? Wow waste of my time

Such a fraudulent service and pathetic customer care. They charge behind the scenes and always sends cryptic emails without even knowing you get charged hundreds of dollars.STAY OUT OF THIS> NEGATIVE REVIEW

This is not a service it's just a ripoff scam! Even the reviews are in accurate. I hired one girl for housekeeping after going through messaging several others with no response except for 1. The 1 that did respond said she was no longer using the service but she was listed. She charged more than double what she stated on her bio. The girl I did hire was 4 hours late the 1st time, 2nd time rescheduled and 3rd time try to reschedule late the night before We had to let her go because she was Unreliable and that review still has not even shown up. Several other applicants applied and we have yet to have anyone respond back to us. Don't waste your money. Issues with their background checking system to.

SCAM ALERT I thought I was paying for a one time search for a caregiver. My brother was dying and I lived out of state. I was desperate and wanted to find a vetted care giver while I tried to get off work. NONE OF THE CAREGIVERS EVEN CALLED ME BACK. So I never did find a caregiver for my brother, which would have been bad ENOUGH, but during that difficult time I somehow MISSED the fact that they kept charging my credit card with NO NOTIFICATION OF THE CHARGES. I missed it while reviewing my statements, which admittedly was not as careful as usual due to my family emergency. (Also caring for elderly parents who were beside themselves when their son passed). Well finally noticed it and hundreds will be pocketed by this evil scam company for NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. I made an appeal and was told they will not refund anything.

Hate the commercials. The little brat should be helping her parents clean on a Saturday instead of whining about how "cute" she is. Get a new way to advertise your services!

Was able to find a few really good babysitters through this site and we are happy about that BUT I purchased the 3 month package thinking I’d be able to find a babysitter with in that time (which I did) and didn’t realize until my card was charged twice afterwards because apparently they have a policy in place to reoccur the charge unless you cancel your subscription which I (and I’m sure many other people) were not made aware of. When I called to get my charge refunded they said I can only get the most recent charge refunded even though I haven’t been on this site in six months because I need to call within 30 days of the most recent charge. So for that reason I am giving two stars because I feel like although the service was pretty good it felt dishonest and not good business sense charging people for nothing .
