I opened an account not knowing they refuse to refund my money. The fine print is so long, and so small. I didn’t know what I was doing. I was trying to help my daughter get help with her kids after she had major surgery. She told me care.com is the worst and would never use it again because the babysitters are not properly screened. I tried to cancel after an hour of opening an account and care.com refuses to refund my money and meanwhile they have been sending me emails about their services. So now I’m getting spammed by them as well. I don’t recommend them.

I too was mislead by care.com and did not realize my subscription would renew every 3 mon. Thankfully I was able to catch it the day I was charged for the first renewal. I had no other complaints or issues with their service. From reading the reviews it seems this is the biggest complaint and I would hope they would fix it. At least email a few days ahead of the renewal payment and make it more known upfront. I was able to cancel my subscription through my iTunes account and I was issued a refund. I am very grateful I only had to deal with Apple and they were so helpful. So FIVE STARS for Apple iTunes and their customer service.

Il n'y a pas de control sur les profils que s'y trouvent et la qualité est très mauvaise. J'ai eu une seule réponse d'une dame qui n'arrivait pas à enlever son profil. 35€ perdu.

The idea behind this is great, but I have spent a lot of time to set up an account, to write a job posting, to check back in etc. etc. just to find out I can't even read anybody's application unless I pay for a subscription. Basically, there is no upgrade… If you want to use their site you have to pay. It's way too high for me to even consider. Guess I'll go back to Craigs list, I can do my own background checks way cheaper! Very disappointed I wish there was something along the same idea that was either cheaper or free and made money through ads or something. Also, after reading other reviews I'm so glad I didn't sign up because it was not clear to me either that if you signed up just for one month (which of course is the highest cost) that would continue until you cancel it. It is true that it does say that, in small print of course, but if you're choosing a one-month subscription it should be up to you if you continue after that not whether or not you go back to their site and cancel.. Several of their buttons didn't work and would just give error messages, not real user-friendly.

Oplichting!!! Kan mij alleen aansluiten aan alle voorgenoemde negatieve reviews! Maar ook heb je sucessvol je premium-lidmaatschap gedowngraded (wat door care.com ook via mail wordt doorgegeven) dan blijft deze “organisatie” nog steeds maandenlang volstrekt onterecht het bedrag voor een premiumlidmaatschp incasseren. Zelf wordt van hun uitdrukkelijk het stopdatum aangegeven ( in ons geval 23-06-2019), de beëindiging van het premium-lidmaatschap, het omzetten naar een kosteloos basisabonnement ( wat wij ook niet wensen, vooral een wissen van ons gegevens bij hun!, ook per mail uitdrukkelijk aan hun gevraagd), maar tot op heden (sept. 2019) worden nog steeds de maandbedragen gecasseerd! Dit zal een heerlijk onderwerp voor de tv-uitzending “ opgelicht” worden. Wij eisen ook van care.com op o.a. deze weg een spoedige reactie en per direct de volstrekt onterecht geïncasseerde maandbedragen terug. Een melding over deze gang van zaken hebben wij al aan visa-Cards international gedaan. Jammer, meer dan twee jaar teveel betaald voor één maand gebruik van deze dienst! Helaas is door care.com totaal geen geschiktheidsscreening voor oppaspersonen/ nannys. Zo is ons een nanny vermiddelt welke een zwaar alkoholprobleem had ( dronk in de tijd van s’ochtends 6 t/m 8 uur al een quart liter wodka!) na ontslag op staande voet na 2 dagen, herhaaldelijke meldingen bij care.com kon deze dame weer gecontacteerd worden op de site van care.com. En dit na een tweetal beloofde blokkades bij deze organisatie. De tweede nanny had overigens een psychisch probleem (Borderline-syndroom) en moest na herkenning van de gevolgen er van ook helaas worden ontslaan. Het resumé over care.com: Geen enkel controle of sceening van hun dienstaanbieders Inefficiënte blokkades bij melding van disfunctionerenden dienstaanbieders (herinschrijving mogelijk) Ongeoorloofd verdere afschrijvingen van lidmaatschapsmaandbedragen bij officieel beëindigd en door care.com gedocumenteerd gedowngraded premium-lidmaatschap na een kostenloos basisabonnement De naam “care” staat eigenlijk niet voor dit soort gang van zaken!!!!

Went to apple Honda in riverhead New York to have call back repair. This was done at no charge.I was offered a 24 pt. Ck yo for free. I took it. They told me I needed front brake pads and rotors.They could do immediately for 500 dollars. I told them I d call them back.Went to my mechanic who said at worse it be350. He ck brakes told me nothing wrong! I had more than half pads. They charged me 20 dollars for cking. Apple Honda are thieves!!

1) Care.com won't allow me to delete my profile which has only been up a few days 2) I had found the option to do so and when I clicked it, site began rerouting me to a Schedule for work page. I cleared cache, deleted Google history and tried again. Same. THIS is why people avoid signing up for anything. Mind you, as soon as I signed up, I began getting called from several bot callers a day. If you haven't noticed the trend in having to pay more and more for work, then this may explain why we have come here. Care.com is now requiring Social Security numbers in the name of safety? My state i.d. and ALL the info the are mining on us, isnt enough info? Sure it is. If our banks can't even protect our info (so they can charge us soon for zero protection games), why would we give our social security number to Care.com. My background is clean but I am not paying Care.com to mine my info for sale so they can flood my inbox with their fake job opportunities. I think its amazing that there seem to be so many opportunities but no one behind these accounts. But brace yourself for the abundance of psuedo responses you will get with click bait links attached....Do not click any link in these emails!!! More scam sites to monitor your private information and offer nothing in return. Stay away from this site.

Could I please get some help here? I am trying to close my account at care.com I am being charged every month for a service that didn't help me to find a job. However, all I need is to cancel my account, many attempts are being in vane. To anyone looking for reviews for this service at care.com and looking for a job, please make yourself a favor and look somewhere else. I hope I can receive some help through this site to cancel my subscription.
