This site is a complete rip off. I sent many a message to those who are on their site listed as available caregivers and NONE responded. The only one that did was to drive traffic and business to her own website/company so she wasn't an actual caregiver. I told care.com and they didn't respond or acknowledge it. I also posted an ad and not ONE response or application. I recruit people for a living so I clearly understand how to do this. They allow people to be on their site that aren't active, aren't looking for work. It's a scam. There is NO support and nope, no refunds no matter what. Well that's some crap that I don't need. I do NOT recommend them to anyone. Stay clear!!!!!

If I could give a zero, I would! I subscribed two weeks ago, they took my money right away, yet I still can't use my account because of a pending background check. Background checks don't take that long!

This company continued to take money off me after my first months trial. I did not realise I was still paying money to them and they did not allert me. When I asked for a refund- no refunds given. This was even though they could see I had not accessed the site for months. They try to lull you back with adverts, saying someone is interested in your service. To see the message you must sighn up and pay again. Generally the member is not specifically interested in your profile, the company just want you to sign up and take your money again. LIke many on this site, I have suspicion some of the messages are bogus.

I am a caregiver using care.com. Although I have found some wonderful families to work with, care.com themselves offer zero support. You cannot get in touch with anyone other than email, they take days to get back to you and then don't usually answer your questions and now when I am trying to submit a question, you can't even scroll down far enough to push the "submit" button.

This service stinks. They lure you in for help and then make it nearly impossible to cancel the service when it is no longer needed. I went around and round with a customer service representative before I was finally able to persuade them that the service (for my elderly mother) was no longer needed because she passed away. This is a pathetic excuse for a care giving service.

Very disgusted and disappointed with this service. I use to be employed through care.com I had a 5 star rating and went above and beyond for the children in my care. To the point I would even come out of my own money to supply for the kids to have essentials they needed or to take them to fun outings or buy them presents for accomplishing milestones, etc. I took a break from child care after having my Own kids. I am now currently looking for baby sitting services and I can’t because my account has been blocked. For what reason I don’t know. I know I had an issue with the last family I sat for because the mother wanted me to do a lot more for her family than she was paying me. But I didn’t meet her through care.com so I doubt it was her but if she left a false review I wish they would have investigated before just kicking me out of the community. I dedicated years of my life providing great service to families I still keep in contact with and help occasionally to this day. And now that I need child care myself I can’t find any and have no reason why. I can’t even contact them to ask because if you are not a member they will not help you. This is not a fair community to be apart of. Not welcoming or anything and anyone can say anything about you and get your livelihood taken away and they will not be on your side they will not even hear your side of things. I have done child care for 10+ years. It is ridiculous some of the people you run into. I do my job the same way I would the best of families despite what issues the families cause me. (Like not being able to take my own child to the hospital because the mother wants to take her sweet time running her errands when she didn’t communicate that with me and was supposed to be home hours ago complains about having to pay me and even cuts my hours short with no communication about her financial limits and just has me on call like I don’t have my own life.) the things us caregivers go through sometimes is ridiculous just to be treated like this with no explanation is honestly heartbreaking and not a “family” community I want to be apart of.I take my jobs very seriously and as someone who didn’t come from a good home it’s very important to me the experience the families and children have with my while in my care.

Care.com turned out to be a complete waste of money. I hired a person through their website, he turned out to be a nightmare. He ate food without asking, he rearrange the furniture, he threw things out without asking. The worst part was that he decided his back needed saving so on the fifth day he stopped helping with lifting my husband. Because his back was more important than the patient or my back. I am 70 years old. I tried getting in touch with care.com on multiple occasions. Their agents were never available. They also somehow charged me for a premium membership when I wanted just a regular membership. Nice way of making extra money for them. I would not recommend care.com and I suggest that you stay away from them.
