Oplichters.

Last year I really needed help and so I paid for the membership and still could not find a baby sitter that would come to my home and babysit.I did find one but she flaked out at the last minute. I don't have a car so could not drive to the babysitters house. So it was a big waste of money for me.I searched for a whole month before canceling my membership. I think most of those babysitters won't babysit unless you are paying a lot like $20 an hour which more than what I make.Like other people said,I don't think they have that many real care givers.I bet half the profiles and reviews are fake to make people think they have a chance at finding a caregiver. It is kind of suspicious how most people look young and good on the site.I think a lot of people do t want to use the site for a job, because they don't want to be going to strangers houses like that. Not to mention that any weirdo anyone could set them up for an attack through the site.

I’d agree with every other review here. The site is awful. Do not be fooled. I cancelled and they took an extra month off me. Emailed and complained about it and got sent a bog standard reply. Avoid at all costs. Im now applying to my credit card to get my money back.

Ze vragen meteen om geld te vangen. Niet ok dus. Ik dacht dit is een datingsite.

Reported this fraud in Canada at Competition Bureau Canada government website, report fraud option. I sent literally 104 requests to caregivers listed on the website in my area and received only 3 responses saying those people were not available although everyone's profile shows 100% response rate. I cancelled my membership on Nov 1st and received the email confirmation of the cancellation and that my credit card would no longer be charged. It has been charged again today! Same as some of the previous reviewers reported. Pure scam. I was surprised the CEO Tim Allen has this practice in his company.

Care.com is a scam. I plugged in a coupon code to see if it still worked, and I was ?magically? signed up for the service even though I had never hit the 'join' button. Yeah. Totally my fault. I should have known when they insisted I enter my cc info *before* they would tell me if the coupon code was still good....that the site was a scam. Live and learn. Once they get ahold of your credit card, THEY WILL NEVER STOP CHARGING YOU. I had to close my account to get them to stop. They don't want to match you with workers, they want to get your debit card number. Clearly, I wish I had checked here first. I won't make that mistake again. On the other hand, there are NO google reviews listed when I looked up the company. That would have been a help. I have contacted Google to allow reviews on Care.com, and I recommend anyone who winds up here does the same.

Not a scam, just sucks Care.com is extremely unfair. Since I have not responded to a, “thank you”, from one family I ended up with an extremely low response rate. This looks bad! Also, Care is so expensive. It is unfair for anyone to pay to look for work. This website is completely absurd. I am a real person looking for real work, I respond immediately to messages. Care just wants to take my money, and it’s no help at all.
