FIRST - They create fake job profiles - jobs never respond to your inquiries. Never received any paid jobs as a result of this site in 5 years. There is a lag in notifications and users rarely if ever respond to job inquiries. Had a profile with them for years and then they started charging for "Premium" accounts - $20 per month!! They charge even more for the accounts posting jobs! There is literally no benefit for paying for any feature on this site. They state your account is a "subscription" and there is no way to get the billing to stop, even after you cancel. They claim to have a NO REFUND policy and will keep your credit card information and hide behind their "Terms and Conditions" at all costs. No phone number for customers service. Customer Service chat is a dead end. Had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. They are are a shady company doing bad business and have ZERO care for "members".

Care.com is the Craigslist of nannies - do yourself a favor and don't use them! I've had two really dreadful childcare experiences with them - they take no responsibility whatsoever for the nannies on their site. I requested a refund on the prepaid yearly membership give a caregiver I hired through them cancelled 3pm on the day before she was meant to work with me due to a personal vacation (she had confirmed her availability with me and changed her plans last minute). The response from care.com's customer service when I asked for a refund of my payment for service: "Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer you a refund because all charges for Care.com subscriptions and services are non-refundable as stated in our Terms and Conditions. We don’t offer refunds because we’ve designed our services to be used for the full billing term selected. ?We’re always working to improve our refund policy to find the best balance, and we’re making your experience into account for future refund decisions. Your account will change to a Basic membership on 6/18/2023. Until then, you can use premium benefits. "

I have been trying to get ahold of customer service for over a week now regarding a payment from a client. I’ve only received automated responses. I understand there may be a delay, but I can’t even verify that the payment has truly been made. I will not work for this company again. There are so many families that need help but the horrible customer service is the worst business practice you can have. All I want to know is if the payment was truly made. There was no notification at anything. If I could give lower than 1 star I would. Makes me want to start my own trustworthy business where family can connect with others and not have to worry about things like this. Care.com does not truly care.

I set up an account 2 weeks ago, paid for a premium subscription and my account was immediately suspended. I spent hours posting jobs and sending messages just to find out nothing went through. I contacted the customer service team via email and Stephanie asked for my full legal name. After providing it to her nothing was done. They take my money but deny me service. Fix the issues Care.com or stop taking our money

This website is a scam. They make it extremely hard to cancel a subscription. You have to scroll down the pages and click ‘downgrade subscription’ several times on several different pages. I thought I had cancelled it months ago and then saw another charge on my credit card. Very dodgy and misleading.

Had care.com for over a year try to cancel it three times… haven’t used it this year at all but they’re still charging me it’s damn near impossible to to get A hold of anybody through that site! I would never in 1 million years recommend this site to anyone. They have taken so much money for me and when I canceled three times ridiculous, this is hard times and all they want do is take your money for no reason!

This is the worse service I have ever used got a one month subscription and after the one month tried to cancel it but was unable to due.even the companies instructions are not accurate .wish I looked for reviews sooner

Can I give 0 stars! I just looked at my credit card statement is noticed a charge for care.com. I have NOT used there services since 2020. I was a charged a recurring subscription but never notified of the upcoming charge. I just contacted customer service and was told they can’t refund the whole amount but they could change it to a different subscription and only charge my $70+. Seriously!!!
