Care.com is a bad business They let unavailable services advertise to their website to entice new customers to sign up and pay very high and unreasonable fees, thinking positively that they could get one of those service, but after paying lots of money in membership fee, no one responded after contacted more than 15 advertise services because they are either unavailable or just not real; even to communicate and be nice to customers they could not do it. Then, when question the customers service they only wash their hands, then cut you off from contacting help and customers service. I paid $75.00 for all rudeness without service in care.com. How this business exist, scamming many parents?

Care.com is a scam site you pay for people to help you in need and all you get is emails no calls pathetic.this site takes your money and lies to you.I only hope one day the owner of this scam site need help and some other site hurts them like they hurt others in need

Appalling treatment, I answered the advert from a young lady because she was the nearest to me, The site asks you to email the advertiser, which I did. I then answered her questions and waited for a reply, when it never came I simply asked if she could tell me whether or not she was accepting the offer so I could move on. The ladys sister replied Saying she would contact the Police if I contacted her again. She seemed to imply that they considered me a pest. I sent Care Com a £70 subscription just the day before. For the lady to let her sister read my Private correspondance then make a threatening reply is a breach of confidentiality and trust, but the insinuation I felt to be a slur on my character. I want to leave and get my money back, how can I trust other advertisers not to act the same way, It seemed they saw a 63 year old man who lives alone and immediatly formed their own conclusions I would rather give them no stars at all, for sharing my information with her sister she should be sacked immediatly, they have also reported me to Care Com, doubtless Care Com will take their part. If you are Male avoid this site at all costs. simply replying to their ad with an email could get you into a lot of trouble. I feel set up and I am very bitter.

I paid for a subscription then had no access to be able to update of change my job posting as my needs for childcare changed weekly during the summer. They were completely unapologetic. I was a complete stress case about getting care for my children. People were not responding to my emails because when they went to my post, it did not make sense. I have used Care.com in the past and know how to use the platform when it is working properly. This was a frustrating and confusing experience for both myself and the caregivers. Despite asking for a refund for the lack of full use of the site and the extra time and frustration trying to work around the problem, Care.com flatly refused. I also could not access my account to cancel my subscription. When I would contact customer service they would send me a response email saying my matter had already been resolved. No phone number, no other way to contact them. Really not Ok when we as parents really have to have childcare in place to go to our jobs.

Absolute Scam - Run. Signed up for 3 months with zero mention of auto-renewal in the process and guess what. You got it, with zero warning or authorization they charged my account for another 3 months. I've reached out to the New York State Attorney General's Office because their "policy" violates New York State Business Law Section 527-527(a) pertaining to auto-renewal policies in New York. I would encourage EVERYONE to do the same in your respective state. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is also an option if your state's AG's office is busy not helping people.

They took my account down for a driving related misdemeanor. Yes I understand that doesn’t look good for my driving record, but that absolutely does not reflect how I care for children or my work. I’m a child care provider with Fairfax County and even they didn’t reject my application for minuscule ridiculous things. Worst part? They will never tell you why they took down your page. It’s a so long and f you never come back type situation.

This company is complete bullsh*t. My wife opened an account to find work and used my credit card. We have been trying for 3 months to cancel the account. It's impossible. No contact phone number. No customer service. When I try to log into the account and cancel, I get an error message. I just called and cancelled my credit card since I had no other option. Such a scam and a hassle. You would have to be an idiot to use this bs company.

Signed up thinking it was free till person was engaged by employer. Realised my mistake. Receiving 3 emails a day. Have pressed unsubscribe 3 times. This is a terrible company. Seems like a scam. DO NOT register!!!
