I honestly feel like I have emailed everyone on this list provided to no avail. I have spent almost $200.00 for a service I could have gotten off of facebook. Kind of disappointed.

You changed the price from when I signed up, gave my card, to final check out. Not satisfied either.

Terrible user experience. Can't search by location unless I select "Messages" and even then, the behavior is not consistent; most of the time when I search by zipcode, it redirects me to the form requiring me to put in all the specifics when all I want to do is search for a sitter close to a location - In this case, I live in florida but would be traveling to Texas. I needed to just look for sitters in a certain area of San Antonio, but was required to put in a full address, before seeing recommended sitters. Not helpful. A map view (which can be done without sharing exact locations, just like Hotwire does) would be extremely helpful. There is also nowhere to specify if I need IN-home child babysitting or out-of-home child babysitting. Not worth the $40 price tag to message folks because I'm STILL so limited on search options.

I agree with so many previous reviews- they automatically renew your account and continue to charge without your approval. I haven’t been using them throughout the pandemic years as I’m working from home! When I noticed their charge on my credit card statement which is only labeled “CC1” and not their full name, I assumed it was for my gym membership which has a similar name. When I called for refund, they refused to accept and held me hostage to their fraudulent charges. Even though they just reached out to me, they don't admit any wrongdoing. They did not even provide a link to customer service- it just navigates you to join again! Further, when you try to cancel your account, you have to dig through many pages to even see a link written in smaller text than the rest of any words on their website. Then it only downgrades your membership from premium to basic. You then have to dig further through several more pages to even find cancel in smaller text and then it merely says that they will cancel only after another subscription year. THIS IS DECEPTIVE AND FRAUDULENT business practice reportable to the Better Business Bureau and worthy of a class action law suit.

Poor quality of jobs available. No contact from the jobs despite fitting all criteria, which makes me think they aren't genuine and are just uploaded to boost Care.com income. Despite signing up for just a month subscription, they auto-renewed and refused a refund, so I did a chargeback through my bank. Here's what the email from them says: 'Thank you for choosing a 1-month subscription. Billing cycle: 03/08/2022 - 03/09/2022' This sounds like you're just paying for a month doesn't it? They autorenew and take the money without telling you! Update: after contacting them again, they agreed to refund in 3-7 business days.

For $150/year I would expect a better app. I mean it accomplished what I needed it to but come on. The app UI is terrible, I moved and can't update my location and have yet to receive a response from customer service. For $15 or 20 I would understand, for 150 there is no excuse. Fix your app UI, it's terrible.
