I've been working as a nanny through a family I met on care.com for the past 10 months. I had to re-do my background check to look for a new nanny family as mine is in school now; sadly, my paid background check has been pending for almost 2 months now. I've been in contact with your team, and they assured me it would now be complete on the 23rd. I reached out again as this did not happen and my case was closed so I had to start all over again. I also was able to message 2 families who wanted to interview me about a month ago but then the app blocked me from doing so. I now seem unreliable to these 2 new potential employers as well. I've worked with children for over 18 years and would love to continue to do so but this experience has forced me to take a break :( I've been waiting for a reply to over 4 different messages regarding my inability to get work b.c your site isn't functioning properly. I'm still waiting for a reply from my message from a few days ago and I sent another one last night. Please respond to the multiple messages I've already sent. I don't have Facebook either so an actual human would be great especially with a site called care.com where children are the focus. Thank you for responding, I'd love a resolution though.

They double charged my card for the month of September. I closed my account and now I can’t access my billing records through the account but I have my own bank statements for proof!! Had to create another account, same email and name just to contact them about this issue. Emailed them twice, haven’t gotten a response. I need my card refunded for that second charge! I see you all respond here so I’m taking a long shot! I will not drop this! This is not right! Fix your communication system ASAP! Taking people money and not allowing them to have a legit way to communicate with you all is a SCAM!

SCAM SCAM SCAM. They take your money and subscription and immediately close your account so you can’t even get into your account and then they don’t refund you. I paid for the monthly membership + ability to do background checks and then next day “account deleted email”. I am literally tempted to create a buyerbewareaboutcare.com website, forming a blog about these scam artists. If anyone has not received their money like I did not, please JOIN ME IN FORMING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT this company has over 79 percent at 1 * star. They take your money and don’t give it back. Let’s take them down My response: I don’t have Facebook I don’t have time to have a Facebook excuse I work and have a child to take care of. Hence my need for care.con for con artists. My account was closed a while back with no refund LIAR. I hope others see this and contact me to file a civil class action lawsuit against this fraud website

BEWARE! This is a scam yall! They will continue to take your money even after you cancel (we tried cancelling multiple times and they do not send a record of you canceling like in an email so you have proof)! AND they will not refund you because like i said there is no proof. The website customer support takes you to is a broken page and there is no customer service person to talk to. They won't even let you talk to a real person on fb messenger. Ive requested that someone call me and they refuse to even respond to me. Read the "terms and conditions" very carefully before you sign up even though none of this is in there. I believe this company is going under (similar to aol) and is scamming people by not letting them suspend services. The only place you will see real reviews is if you google it. And about 80% of the reviews are terrible. I read one that said if they could give 0 stars they would. I definitely feel the same way!

I had an old account I wanted to reactivate. I have moved and it would not reactivate with new address. I had to set up on old address. It's still not letting me change my address. I have contacted customer service 3x... no phone, so have to email. They say 48 hours, but still no response. So they take my money to do a background check and I still cannot get on to edit my profile. I even got an email saying I'm not approved, I need more than one line. There are paragraphs on my page. This is a joke. This is very frustrating. I want my money back. This is horrible, if you need help, you can't get it. So, I'm out of $18 for a check and I need the extra work. I think that's amusing that when you are on the website it says email only... and then you can't get a response. Some days you need an immediate response. But suddenly a phone # pops up here on Trustpilot. I call BS!!! I still can't edit my profile and update my location. I'm not even in the same city. I'm filing with the BBB.

FRAUD & SCAM ALERT!! I created an account, went through the background screening (With PERSONAL info.) and then we get to the last step which was to select a plan in order to fully use their services… Fine..money paid, however when I go to log into my account it says No account found but you took my d*mn money out huh? Will be disputing these charges & Changing banking info. You will NOT be automatically deducting anything from my account since y’all don’t recognize my info … a WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY, & MONEY!!! BE AWARE! & why don’t y’all have an actual number for customers to call in. Y’all are making TOO much money off of people not to have that. That’s the bare minimum. Smh. Reporting to BBB also.

Literally horrendous. I signed up to find a nanny for my twins and barely received any interest at all. The people who reached out would just randomly stop responding after conversing for several days. I contacted care.com and their customer service was absolutely awful. It turns out they just randomly remove your job posting after a certain number of days without telling you and you have to repost it. I then cancelled my account due to it being an entire waste of money and they charged my credit card $60 without my permission. This place is a joke.
