Care.com is still taking 29.00 out of my account every month, I have cancelled 5 times and still making money off of me and I can only imagine how many others are being ripped off against their will. I called the bank and I will have to cancel my card to stop it and contact all the other companies I have set up with my card and give them new info, never mind the hundreds of dollars they have stole from me and refuse to refund me!

The site has not been helpful. In fact it is more stressful than anything as it has made us much less confident in finding a sitter/ nanny. Few and far between caregivers and 99% of them say they aren’t available or “forgot to take their post down,” etc. Waste of money and not one possible caregiver For example, the last 3 caregivers said they already have full-time jobs and aren’t available. The previous one indicated that she forgot to take hers down, she already has a job and no availability. We’ve gotten no options since being on site

No value for money, just interested in you paying for subscription.carer don't respond and the company is not interested as long as you pay subscription. I won't recommend this company.

horrible!! i tried to get a background check done but it never processed and they told me i couldn’t make an account with them because of it. i cancelled everything and deleted the app. now a month later i get a charge for $16.23??! the backgrounds check shouldn’t even be that much so what is it?? even if it WAS the BG check i didn’t get a background check and i cancelled my account! so that charge should’ve never happened either! tried to see if i could log in and i can’t bc i got locked out after i couldn’t get the BG check so i tried changing my password and the email never came. i tried 5 times. so i’m blocked from the account but still being charged services i never got or services i straight up didn’t even subscribe to or know about. i can’t contact them either. literally just a scam. if i was actually able to make the account i wouldn’t be so mad but they told me i couldn’t. so why am i being charged. and it’s not that i have a criminal record. my background check should be perfect. 100% clean so that’s NOT it. it just “couldn’t be processed”. DONT use care.com…

Horrible company. I cancelled on the final day of my monthly subscription and they went ahead and charged my card anyway. When I escalated my concern, the response was they "do not offer refunds for any reason!" Do not use this company, it is run by insincere robots and over seas agents that have no ability to assist you. All they CARE about is their own bottom line!

Horrible, dishonest company. I paid the $24.99 and never heard back from them. When I inquired about my security check I was told they never received my payment. I’ve sent them a copy of my receipt. They closed my account and said they will not refund me and I will need to dispute it through Apple Pay.

Paid for a one month subscription, couldn't get into my account 2 days later. Tried to go through 'forgot my password' route but the website says we'll send you an email to reset your password, never sends an email. Tried contacting them, all emails are not monitored.

what a scam. We signed up for a MONTHLY subscription and got charged immediately for a year. I cancelled the subscription immediately and contacted my bank. This is a very deceptive business practice. There is no way to contact this company without paying first.( update 2/11/2023)Transaction went through even though we canceled immediately. Update as of 2-28-2023. I was told by care.com that I was not the account holder and the would email my wife, because she is the account holder. That was two weeks ago and she still has not received said email.
