Total scam site. Took my money for upgrade and then has blocked me from signing in. Cannot contact customer support because you need to sign in to contact them which I cannot do because they have blocked my ability to sign in. Waste of time and money. Update: Now that someone has reached out and sent a single email and no other follow up I am free to use the site. I have contacted about 70 of the listed babysitters and 4 have responded. 2 are not available for babysitting, 1 asked where I lived and ghosted me and the other was very promising until the point of actually meeting up to meet and greet with the kids. Since then, that "person" has also opted to respond no longer. I am left wondering if these are real accounts or fake accounts to make it look like there are options enticing the user to pay for the upgraded membership. Because of this I decided to cancel my auto renew membership and was informed that while I did pay the 3 months in advance, if I cancelled the auto renew I would lose all 3 months and revert back to the original tier. Not sure how this is allowed and this site is in business, but I'm pretty frustrated at the lack of transparency and what is obviously just a site set up to garnish people of their money without any accountability. Update 2: After realizing that there aren't any actual service providers on this site I spent Thursday night trying to reach someone regarding cancelling my account and getting a refund. I was told that my account can be cancelled at the end of the term that I paid for, but no refund will be given as according to Care.Com " we don't offer refunds because we've designed our services to be used for the full billing term selected". I signed up yesterday so I'm not sure what that even means. In the end, I am out the money and have 0, absolutely 0 chance of finding a babysitter on this site as there aren't any. Misled, stolen from and very very angry. Terrible site and given the reviews this is the business model. Stay away from this group.

I’m not sure what this site is about but I was messed around from the beginning. I just can’t help but feel it’s a money taking exercise where you won’t get anything sorted for your pets except a whole load of time wasting. Totally unreliable. Very disappointed.

Het is volledig niet transparant hoe het werkt met betaling of iemand inhuren. Pas NADAT je alle gegevens ingevuld hebt, krijg je daar informatie over. Het mailjte dat je bent aangemeld krijg je binnen 1 minuut, het mailtje van verwijderen account en afmelden is nu nog niet binnen. AFBLIJVEN, volstrekt vaag. Mensen die op staan zijn wel echt, maar ik vraag me af, hoeveel zij dan betalen.....zal ook niet transparant zijn. Verder ook volstrekt onbereikbaar

Total con. Signed up for basic because we are looking for some housekeeping support for my sister. They let you post the ad but don’t tell you that in order to access anyone who has replied you have to set up a £29.95 per month subscription. Why bother letting people post the ad? I wonder how many of your users know they are advertising themselves on a platform where they don’t stand a chance of getting half the jobs because people aren’t willing to pay £30 a month to find a cleaner!

Terrible!!! Feels like I got scammed. There's no way to contact them. No way! I need to cancel my account because I don't meet all the requirements and it wouldn't allow me to access account far less no legit email or telephone provider. I have not completed my account process but has charged my account. Why isn't this the last thing they take. Now I can't complete registration and there is no help available. A total SCAM please be careful everyone!!! I now have to call my bank to cancel my card. Sigh what a terrible inconvenience this caused me.

My wife paid for an account. She booked a sitter for 3 days. First day the sitter notified use 2 days in advance that they couldn’t come. Second sitter we booked and confirmed the day before just didn’t show up. My wife contacted her, said she overslept and would be there later then never showed up. This site is a joke.

They will keep billing you forever!!

They should stick to babysitting. None of the housecleaners I contacted responded. One that was double my budget contacted me instead. I read through all the profiles and most were not accepting jobs or didn’t work in my area. So I cancelled my subscription 2 weeks after creating my account (8/12/22). My husband thought the bill for Care.com was for healthcare products so he just paid it for 5 more months! Almost $200 for no service. I remember cancelling because they asked why and I wrote a detailed explanation including how their website showed other “Relevant Profiles” that were all babysitters and nannies when I was looking for a housecleaner. Apparently the cancellation didn’t happen so I had to do it again today (1/30/23) when I learned they were still charging us. It takes about 5 windows of them trying to talk you out of cancelling. I would never recommend this site to anyone. A friend recommended them but she had not used them yet. I will recommend that she never does. Wonderful idea, horrible execution.
