I really love Care.com. I’ve been using it for a very long time. The only thing that bothers me is that people do not respond in a proper time Manor. Sometimes it takes forever for them to respond while you’re waiting and waiting and waiting. You should have a response date they must respond in a week or something like that, but I still love Care.com

I cancelled my membership over a month ago but they've still charged me for the next 3 months. ! Still waiting for a response from them . Received a response. Apologies but no refund. Appalling. I will be taking this further. It's a total scam

I've used Care.com for over 4 years. They are a valid and helpful website. I've found several excellent people through their services. Although they do automatic renewals without notification, that is not illegal or even strictly speaking wrong. HOWEVER: I now have to report that they scam in their billing practices. And I would advise others to steer clear of them. My experience is below. I opened a 3 month subscription in September, 2023. By early November, I had found another excellent person. So, I closed my account. Care.com sent me an e-mail, verifying that my account had been successfully closed. AND THEN, they billed me for an additional 3 month subscription in early December. ALMOST ONE MONTH AFTER my account had been closed. I contacted them 5 times, and a refund of that UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD was rejected 5 times. There is no way to delete your card from their website. The charge of 62.00 is not enough to hire a lawyer. But think what they are gaining: how many people have they done this to? I have spent about 2 hours in the refund process, over 4 months (see previous review for details). Signing off now on April 04, 2024. PS: APRIL 05: re Care.com's message below: I never used the app. I always used their website, via my laptop.

i see how low the reviews are and I cannot argue with that. there's absolutely NOTHING good i can say about them, the website or the people who list. they post listings and it's like they forget they did and then when you apply, they NEVER respond back or when you go in to check status, it says no longer hiring. I mean like...what the heck. as a caregiver WE pay to be listed on their site, so in return they should have someone monitoring their site to check on listings that have been there for months or keep rejecting people, etc. these people offer such low amounts to start with and then they want the whole menu of things for a measly $15 per hour? the site should be shut down. i cancelled after only 1 month because NOTHING good came out of it and now seeing that the rating is 1.7...it's no surprise. there's no doubt that someone will see this negative review and send a message asking for more details but i gave all the details they need here. Update: they replied asking for my name and number. They already know that information. My review is VALID & TRUTHFUL
