Get babysitters has always been good on care.com. However their subscription services SUCKS when you think you cancel them. I have an email confirming I cancelled the service on Nov 18, 2023 and have not used the service for over a year. Now I have 2 charges for a total of $160 dollars and not help to resolve or offer any help on the payment. You can clearly see the was not activity until the charge appeared on my credit card on April 21 and asked my credit card to cancel and care.com denied. If you ask me they cancel services are hidden and it is very difficult to determine if the service is cancelled. Obviously in my case I feel with no activity there should be some refund or credit given. Unfair business practices and not reliable communications!

I received many well qualified candidates, but the person I chose, Kimberly W. actually responded as if she read my request. All of the other candidates sent me generic responses about their qualifications.

Today the pet sitter, Emma who applied to dog sit for us today was a no call/no show! I would have rated a zero if I could, a one star is too kind. My husband & I were scheduled for a training class from 9:AM - 6:PM. Due to the class lasting so long with only a 30 minute lunch, we desperately needed someone to take our 2 Shih-Tzu’s outside for breaks & give them their snack at noon. We unfortunately had to CANCEL our class due to her unreliability. I will no longer use Care services & I’m going to expect a full refund of my $77 membership fee. I’m very upset, on my first attempt to try the service, it was an untimely failure that cost us a day of training.

I’ve used this website for at least 5 years to find my own private clients.Im a caregiver and I have had 5 star ratings/reviews on care from a minimum of 12 families that I worked through the years that I got connected through that site.At least half of the adds up seem like fake bot adds I definitely noticed this through the years and that seemed a bit funny to me.This part right here I’m pretty sure is illegal.I think they post many of their own adds to attract members but it’s not as busy as it seems so yes I think they are partially scamming.They deleted my profile without any explanation and told me to appeal but appeal does no good and there no explanation for why my profile got deleted given that I’ve been member for many years with excellent feedback.I lost my access and my reviews.There is no number where you can call and their online costumer service is horrible.I really hope there’s a lawsuit in their future.You can’t just treat your costumers this way it shouldn’t be legal. Yes they also would bill me and raise my rate without any notification vie email or text.I contacted them about this and they gave me some bs excuse.

Rachel took care of 6 - 7 pets twice a day. We have a feral that pops in through the doggie door. She did a lot of work with multiple cats and a dog. Walked the senior dog who is a bit slow.
