Care.comReviews of care.com

I was not aware of the company and stumbled upon them as I looked for pet siitters. I did arange a pet sitter who was quick to respond otherz did not but I am happy with my choice.

I hired a caregiver who I end up falsely raving about. I paid her more than she asked just to take mom out for walks or walk around stores. Her list of 100 things she can do got really short after I hired her. She never remembered receipts, promises the moon and doesn’t deliver, I think she made more promises of going to do something and just lied to make me think it will happen. I had the membership for months and very few responses for what seemed fairly easy. It was a big waste and should have just hired a professional from a service instead of trying to save a buck.

BEWARE OF THIS MISLEADING COMPANY. I set up an an account in 2021 as a new mum needing help. I believed I was signing up for 1 month. I had no idea that I had set up an auto-renew subscription. Three and a half years later, we discovered we've been charged $45 per month - over $1,700 of fees. This is a scam. Every other subscription app reminds you before they charge, we received zero communication. I hadn't logged in to care.com since 2021. I reached out to their customer support who blew me off saying "sorry you weren't aware of the T&Cs" - BECAUSE THEY WERE MISLEADING! There's a reason this company has just been fined $8.5m for misleading customers. I've requested a refund... Will update if I hear back but at this stage nothing.

I am really happy with my new housekeeper. She’s very bright and cheerful and knows a lot and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to others for sure.

The housekeeper was very, very good. She had a very friendly attitude, she really was a BIG Help organizing my kitchen without even asking me any questions, and she cleaned my refrigerator which I really appreciated since I did not even ask for that. I would be happy to use her again in the future.

Somehow a subscription for a year was put on my account. I contacted their Help line as soon as I saw the large amount on my credit card. Exactly 5 days after it was posted. I requested it be canceled.I was sure they would understand that this was an error because I had used their site previously. No, they said no refund…they could have at least charged for only a month. This is terrible customer service. The no refund policy is not clear. I don’t have any idea how they charged me for a year. Because they had my credit card number, which I had not agreed for them to save!

This was the first time I have ever left my child with anyone outside if family. I was so nervous about leaving her but it went very well. She checked in with me just to let me know things were going well. My child was happy. I highly recommend

I didn’t find anyone to stay over night with my dogs.
