After posting the services I was looking for in Housekeeping, I received several applications and replies to some I had reached out to. The process of finding someone I felt was qualified and also affordable to me took about 4-5 days. Sarah M has good skills, arrives on time, and is easy to communicate with. When she finished, I was so pleased with her work that I added another day for some other jobs. Being in my early 70s, I find that even though I am active, I am starting to need help with some chores and she provided that help. I am happy with the service and think it was a good value for me.

I keep asking for house cleaners, but the website keeps bringing up child care services. I booked 1 person for Thursday but she never called back to confirm, and now it looks like a no-show so I’ve wasted my time and money for this Care. Website.

This was our first experience with Care.com and it went so smoothly. Shy was wonderful with our baby, took notes, sent me pics during the day, and asked questions when she needed to. I came home to a house that had been tidied and a calm baby. I would absolutely have her again!

I needed some to take my daughter to her bus stop and be at my apartment by 6:50 am. At 6:52, I texted her and found out that she wouldn’t be arriving until 7:02. I needed to leave at 7 and could not wait. My daughter missed school today.

The potential caregiver never responded to my initial communication so I cancelled the service ( getting a confirmation of cancellation) however your service sent me a notice if the expectant caregiver coming. No one showed up. I need a full refund please ! The changes to your system do not allow “ Vetting” or face to face interview. I have a specialty job needed to feed and care for horses which needs a thorough evaluation before anyone comes due to liability issues. I will not be using your service again. Dr. Annie Prescott

The website isn't user friendly, I'd see different people offered on different days and not even in my location. I didn't find anyone suitable for my job and I only received 2 responses from the 10 people I contacted. Of these 10 about half were in a reasonable travel distance for the job anyway. It was very lacking in all areas. One told me she lives in another area but the website wont let her update it accurately. The other agreed to call and did not. I was also contacted offering a completely different service by someone who lives the opposite end of the country. Costs a lot for absolutely nothing. Cannot recommend using this site.

Customer service was great. They were able to refund me a large portion of their upgraded service. Unfortunately I didn’t understand what I was paying into at the time ($12.99/month for total of over $155). I received back most of this amount but was still charged for one month’s usage ($38). My decision not to use this service = I had a hard time understanding how this service operates within their website - hence paying the hefty $155. That was my mistake for not understanding. But I also never heard back from those I’ve messaged for potential service, even with the upgraded membership - a little disappointing. I will look elsewhere for in home service.
