Care.comReviews of care.com

My caregiver I hired from Care.com was absolutely wonderful. She checked all the boxes and went above and beyond my expectations.

Can not message person without paying $150.00 first. Then app shows job was closed when it was not and Care took money from card on file. Person didn't show up first weekend Aug 31 and Sept 1 due to child was sick. So I cancel those two day as no show due to child. Then Sept 7 Care app showed was canceled contacted through app to see why and they showed still good and person was scheduled to show also took money from account on file. Person did not show again not sure if she cancel job due to no longer able to meet. But I put in no show again and Sept 7 canceled the job altogether since person was not showing up. Your app is hard to use and hard to communicate with person who answered job.

Charnele was reliable and kind. She took great care of our 4 cats while we were away. We would definitely hire her again.

Most of these Agents aren't available and it it a waste of time contacting them to only find out they already are working with other Clients. And I paid the monthly fee and can only chat with the Agents online. Your website blocks their phone numbers and I cannot call them when they provide their phone number to call. What am I paying for??

Terrible. The respite I hired for my son was a complete disaster. I told him exactly what he was getting into an he assured me that he knew what he was doing. ..HE DIDN’T. Quit after 2 days because he couldn’t handle what I have done every single day for 20 years.

I appreciate her coming over to meet the kitties. She was kind, caring, and open. The kitties took her easily and immediately. Thank you so much!

Great fast service!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience on Care.com. The information provided on the site is often unclear, making it difficult to understand how the membership charges and services work. When I reached out to customer service for support, I received no real help—just generic responses that didn’t address my concerns, didn’t provide a solution, and didn’t offer a good experience. On top of that, despite multiple attempts to get assistance with an issue, Care.com refused to provide a refund for a service I was unable to use due to their unclear charging methods. It feels like they’re more interested in taking your money than actually supporting their customers. I expected much better from a platform that’s supposed to help families and caregivers. I would not recommend Care.com to anyone new trying based on my experience.
