Care.com has provided zero reason for suspending my perfect caregiver account of 8 + years. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to get this reinstated because I have worked tirelessly to maintain it over the years and accumulate 18 perfect reviews for my hard work. I sincerely hope they reach out to FIX this error ASAP! ZERO reasoning was provided! How is this even possible? UPDATE: I hope to remove this review soon as I will be a speaking to a supervisor not too long from now... UPDATE January 8th - The first supervisor said NO we don't have to tell you anything. Still waiting on official company response from these reviews posted UPDATE January 10th, Care responded via facebook and this website indicating they will reach out with safety team member TODAY - still waiting - it's 5:27CST -and they told me this at 1:08CST. Still a good sign - I hope this is pivotal moment! UPDATE January 11th, Care responded again on facebook and says they are still going to contact me (obviously next week now since it's Saturday) Take your bets now whether this account will be resolved and reinstated by the end of next week Update January 13th, Care's trust and safety member has still not called. I contacted their team member chat and they say I will be contacted very soon UPDATE - January 14, still no response UPDATE - January 15, their Safety person told me that "unfortunately the decision to close your account is irreversible." And that they can't me tell anything due to being an opaque company etc. I am currently awaiting the results of the attorney general - we'll see if that gets any traction.

I just wish I could use your Service but can't because I can't get the Picture made for the ID you want done ? I've tried but just don't understand how to do it so finally gave up ? That's why I made the sugestion about needing Help with Computer helpers ? I sure do & repair work for them too. So I won't be able to use" Care "now I'm sorry to say, don't know where I'll get Housekeeping or dog walking help now ? Hope You can use some of my suggestions ? I've been thinking about this ? Since I've been having so much trouble with trying to use my Computer, That's what I need help with ? I Still don't know how I got to Join in the 1st Place without the Picture ? All I can think of is Maybe it had to do with my Google Crome pic. or my ID Facebook pic because before the 1st I had both of them & right after the 1st, both went off my Machine. I didn't I hope the Ideas I've mentioned might help. Especially that about Helpers for Computers. I could sure use it. But 1st I need the Help to know how to Take a picture for ID to get on Your Pg. ? Don't remember how to do it anymore, Especially on this new machine I've got ? I don't know how I did it Originally unless it was my original Google, or Facebook picture ? Thats' been on for some time ? But off Facebook now as of '25. Will miss using "Care" , enjoyed using 1 of the Housekeepers there, & felt safe in hiring one from there but now won't be able to without ID Sorry about that ? Now will have to shop for another one somewhere else ? Hope these Suggestions Work out for Some people if you can or do use them. I know I would. Good Luck & Thanks for your Service, especially for Elderly & Disabled, PS, Try & keep their Fees down, SSI & Soc Sec., Pay is so Low, sure helps Seniors when you can & do, Thanks, Mikey You're Co., should offer Help for a fee for help for setting up Computer Service for those who need it & People who want to teach the Computers to those who want & Need it ? There are a lot of People who can use them & I'm sure can & would work at doing that ? So many Elders like me don't know or understand the Complex things on Computers & have problems like I'm having & could use the help & need a Computer helper they could count on ? I know I could ? You're Co. could start them out with a Simple Log in instead of Pictures,until after they've joined then get the pictures when they've leared how with a computer set up as part of joining afterwhich ? I know I would like to have someone to help me with my computer & printer, because being disabled I can't Shop & take it to be Repaired, get Parts, Tools, , Ink etc or Help. to learn to use it ? It'd be nice to have help. If people would want to Clean House, Walk Dogs, Surly they would Help Teach Computers or Fix them if Possible ? for Disabled Especially ? Then they can also help them to take pictures they want too ? & show them how ? It's an Idea ? I'd use it ? I've been looking for someone to help me with my computer & printer but can't ? So it sits cause I can't drive & get it fixed ? So need someone to come here w ink & things to fix it with ? Also I'm 82 & Alone in my home w Epilepsy, ok, but have Tremors & don't understand fancy stuff on Computers like many Seniors especially that need your Services. Especially Housekeeping, Shopping, Dog Walking, Copanionship, Cooking, Minamal Care w Seniors who don't get it in Assited Living ! But they can't if they don't know a Simple way to Call, Chat or Talk w you . It would be Great to talk to you now because I'm having trouble writing this w my tremors. Talking would be better. I couldn't get back on because I'd forgotten my password, my fault, not yours or Charles ? now I for got his name, but he was so nice & Care is so much Better to show the People, & Personal Business, & let them talk to you & you & the Worker make up their own Minds Personally & not so Expensive like that "Angi" thing ? This is a scam. Beware of care.com. You are unable to contact them or leave them an actual review. All very secretive and there is a reason why. I had an open profile and they charged my card without my authorization. I didn’t have an ongoing subscription. When I tried to remove the card, it’s not possible. I can’t close the account either. The only thing I can do is to make my account non-visible. Someone needs to investigate this awful scamming company. Period.

Used them earlier in the year for my father, and had a caregiver cancel just 10 minutes before she was due. That's after claiming to be stuck in traffic for 30 minutes. Now trying to use them for my MIL, and the new verification system isn't working creating a high level of unnecessary stress. When I try to use their help chat feature, it tells me to log in again and then denies i have an account. I tried multiple times and it was the correct email and password. Beyond frustrated.

I was first skeptical as I never experienced hiring a caregiver for my dad, let alone thru online services. Care.com made it simple and stress-free. It was easy to create an account and post help you needed. Within a short period of time, available caregivers started sending their applications thru care.com and I was able to review each applicant. Within hours I was able to hire 2 caregivers to try and both are very caring and compassionate. Thanks to care.com my family and I are now worry and stress free about giving care to my dad.

Both people I tried to contact didn't show up. One was even a premium member with past history. The other three I contacted didn't even provide a response. It's been well over 24 hours since I sent messages. I'm very disappointed in the quality of applicants.
