Completely unprofessional that I cannot delete my account without having to give them my credit card information first and taking their subscription. I signed up, hoping to check the app as a babysitter and gave them my email and phone number, only to find out late that they want you to pay first before you can check your account. Complete scam.

For years I have had success using care.com as a caretaker. I have received multiple messages the last few days, but cannot read or reply to them because their recent updates require users to only use the app; they have made the website unusable. Not everyone has the ability to download or use the app. I once recommended the site highly, but now cannot use it.

The app is horrible, and I do mean the worst I have ever encountered. I get constant errors. When I ask for tech help, they repeatedly say things are fixed. I go to use the ap, nope never fixed. I can't access my messages, and I know there was one sent from an upcoming jo so that person is going to be left high and dry if not corrected. I can't apply for any new jobs and there was one I wanted to. I have no idea what I might be missing. It was a good set up years ago, but they have made it nearly unusable for both employers and those looking for jobs.

After messaging nearly 20 people a week over a 4 month period I've had four separate housekeepers stand me up the day they were supposed to be here.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD#. Another company with no people and false promises. I am in the process of shutting down my credit card to make sure that I don't keep getting recurring charges. I immediately regretted it when it automatically signed me up for babysitting that I did not want. There are no people and an unmonitored phone number.

Useless app and website with no customer service. It’s a scam. They took the subscription fee and then locked my account. There is no customer service number to call.

Their review platform is both biased and flawed, as it allows clients to post defamatory reviews without verifying whether services were agreed upon or actually rendered. Furthermore, caregivers and service providers are given no opportunity to respond to or dispute these reviews, leaving them vulnerable to public misrepresentation. Care.com seems to allow misuse of its platform by clients, with little to no effort to investigate or protect the professional reputations of providers. This lack of accountability and fairness is disheartening for those who rely on the platform for their livelihood.
