Scam. Beware of hidden recurring billing. They enrolled me into some recurring billing nonsense that charged me $38.95 for 1.5 years without me noticing. No rebill emails or any kind of notification about it whatsoever. AND when I told them about it they just said "we say we are a subscription in our terms and conditions" but nothing on the checkout or anywhere at the time I signed up. I only used this website once and ended up paying $1400. And they won't even help me or refund me. Unbelievable! Scammers, such a great bunch of people... you can see that I'm not using the service but you still charge me. For what? And no emails letting me know I'm being charged every month???! That is illegal according to credit card best practices.

Terrible website, paid for one month only and the default setting is to keep taking your money at the expensive monthly rating even though you only paid for one month. They do not tell you that you have to re- set billing, so get more money. I emailed them about this and they have told me auto-renewal policy was stated on the upgrade page at the time of initial purchase as well as in their terms - I have to say this is not accessible for most people and default settings such as this are very unhelpful for the purchaser. Quality of people on this website for child care very variable and overall not great. Would not recommend.

We had a very disappointing experience. Our account was abruptly closed without any warning or proper investigation. For clarity: we were not hiring for our company. As healthcare advocates, we assist individuals and families in navigating the healthcare system — which occasionally includes helping them interview private, self-paid caregivers. These individuals are hired directly by the families, not by us. We were in the middle of coordinating interviews for a client who was depending on our assistance and expertise during a critical time. The sudden account closure disrupted this process entirely and created unnecessary stress for a family relying on us for support. The decision to shut down our account without reviewing our intentions, job descriptions, or communications with candidates was not only misguided but deeply unprofessional. It reflects a troubling lack of due diligence and understanding of your user base. We were originally referred to this platform by trusted colleagues, but based on this experience, we can no longer recommend it. We are sharing this incident with others are aware of the risks of using this service.

I purchased the 3-month subscription with plans to cancel it before it renewed 3 months later. Although I was able to find a person quickly for the care I needed, when I went to cancel my subscription, the representative didn't actually cancel the service on their end and care.com charged me to for a second 3-month subscription. They didn't even have the decency to send an email that they were going to charge me like most other subscription based services do. If they had, I would have been able to contact them yet again to try to cancel the service. When I complained 2 days after being charged, they said there's a no-refund policy, gaslit me, and stiff armed me into not refunding me the money that was unjustly charged. I'm so disappointed in this type of business practice and hopeful that a competitor will come up next to it to have a more fair business practice.

Took my money but 4 weeks later I still have no access to the website! Only help is online FAQ and chat. Chat always says the same thing... Case was given to "internet support team and they will get back to you." No phone number and no email. Stay away!!

I have used Care as a caregiver since 2011 and have found so many jobs over the years. Now I’m in need of parttime hours…EVERY gig I applied for, even ones posted within an hour, was suddenly “no longer seeking care.” The new App only platform is terrible and I think that most job postings are scams. REALLY disappointed as this was my main source of caregiving jobs.
