No help whatsoever after trying to receive a response on not being able to sign in, was told to create an account again and start over, not only would it not let me do this, but clearly shows I have an account I can't access after being told they removed me from the system. A phone number for help listed on the website only leads to a robot instructing you to go to the website to have your questions answered and then hangs up. In the meantime, I can see multiple missed opportunities arriving in my email saying that I have a potential job to respond to within 12 hours,,, impossible. Nothing but a log in loop constantly with no end in sight. I hope people are not paying money for an extremely poor excuse of a company that should not be allowed in business.

They charged me to do a background check and upgrade my profile for additional views. I’ve been applying to tons of jobs and not a single response accept for someone trying to scam me! Awful awful AWFUL!!!! Do not give your money to care.com!!! It’s a scam!!!

Hi. I have had a mixed experience with care.com. I did find a housekeeper from here at one point but couldn't find one the next time. Many people never responding. I was very disappointed today when my account auto-renewed for $160 without any advance notice. So, make sure you put a note in your calendar of your renewal date if you use them!! *update: I added another star because I did receive a partial refund after the saw this review and reached out to me.

Please do your research and do not use this site! Absolutely a scam! Charged me $39 month (thought I was paying for 1 month, but it was a subscription that I had to cancel) I needed someone to take my dad for an outpatient appt because I was traveling, and the VA said that they couldn't provide transportation. Only one person responded to my request after sending multiple requests, which left me with just one option. Those who applied were not qualified due to the time restraints or they had bad reviews. I asked for a refund within a few days and was told there is a no refund policy. Also in fine print it states that it is our responsibility to vet the applicants. What??? Then what am I paying for??? Just another company trying to make money to do nothing, creating a website and charging you to use it with no results.

I was scammed through a fake parenting job posting that contacted me via messages. The scammer sent me a fake link for a background check, claiming it was part of the job process. I mistakenly trusted the link and ended up losing all the money from my bank account.

Scam website that won't let you cancel membership. They lost an FTC lawsuit and had a class action lawsuit they lost for not letting people cancel memberships. They made me pay 2 years extra after I cancelled my account.

It is a legit company that you can book care from. However you cannot talk to the people before hand you just have to pick and wait for them to show up. I signed up for premium hoping to be able to chat with the folks. It never let me talk to them and they still charged me. So it’s just a sketchy untrustworthy company. Who wants to book a baby sitter without vetting the person? The fact that they could not provide services for me and couldn’t fix their own tech and still charged me is insane.

If I could go less than one, I would. I signed up and went through their vetting process. that was it. No one ever got back in touch with me. I feel like I got scammed into giving this company my personal information. The "carers" that are in my area are all fake and do not exist. Nice. Please avoid this.
