Care was simple and easy to use, the response for suitable housekeepers was overwhelming. I was a 3 month member but just really need to access the program only when I am hiring so being a fulltime member does not make sense for me

Extra subscription charges even after cancelling membership and there is no way to contact customer service either via phone or email. It’s a scam!

I wanted to board my cat for 10 days. The two responses I received were puzzling: one was a traveling caregiver who wanted to house sit (not safe) and the other was an hour away who charged $88 per night. I contacted Care within 24 hours to cancel and they REFUSED to refund my money. The form letter I received from Care didn't even pertain to my situation. Their site pushes you into signing up. The fees pop up on every page no matter what you're searching for. I expected more from Care! BEWARE, they want your money without providing the service you expect.

I was looking for pet sitting jobs in my area, and when I went to apply for them, most were available to apply on through apps you had to download and sign up for. I found care.com and saw that it was a legit company, and proceeded to create a profile which it asked of all its customers, and post credentials so you can be matched with people looking for people to care for their pets. I got a few requests, but when I would click accept job, there were no responses back. I ended up receiving an email about one of the jobs I applied for after two or three weeks after I applied. I was excited that I finally got a response, but to my dismay, it was a scam. The job wasn't real. The emails were way off, The first one seemed ok, but some of the requests seemed odd. I responded back, but when I didn't hear for a few days and no questions of mine were answered, I moved on. I received another email yesterday from them after a week of waiting. It was even more odd. I can attach them to an email to the company if they want to see them. I decided to report them. If the company responds to this, I will give them more information on the person. I ended up canceling my account, as I do not want any more experiences like this. It will expire soon, as this is a paid subscription and my time hasn't run out.

Care.com hosts well trained individuals for positions providing care for your family. We have used their services many times over the years and have been pleased with their screening protocol. I have found the site easy to navigate and I enjoy the additional services that are provided like tax assistance, background checks and driving record verification. I will continue to use them as my first call for looking for help within the family.

I received a rehomed Golden doodle only to find out at 2 week that he had a sarcoma that was quite large. Because of his size and although the surgery was successful it was costly and I had to have him restiched 2 times due to the location of the surgical site. If it wouldn' t have been for CARE the expense would have been prohibitive . by being able to pay it off in partial payments made it much easier or me.
