It's a company with very responsible and friendly clients. I haven't had any problems with the families I've worked with; they pay on time, are respectful, and are families you feel comfortable with.

Very disappointed as to how they did not properly serve me as a cleint who had paid into the services they have provided. I was removed from the app without explanation when I’d never had any issues whatsoever do ever from using this app for at least 2 years but all of a sudden I get an email out of nowhere that my account was removed and they cannot further tell me why . Even I waited 2 years to try back to we what the problem could be they email me the same excuses which didn’t make sense , when I had been a verified customer the entire situation should have been properly handled but it was mishandled and my money was taken and still no reason why I had not been allowed back on. And you all are saying the account may have been closed because likely it didn’t meet the requirements? How is this when I was an active member without any problems for over a year. same account no changes . On my end done to not meet requirements I’d already been abiding by .. It was just one day I was just removed by you all “ without explanation “ . That’s unacceptable.

Care.com is a company that I will forever advise people against using. They don’t provide a safe service or really any service. They make you feel like they vet out the potential hires but they actually have no way of proving that the person info who’s applying is the same person that will show up to your house.

Absolutely terrible experience. This company uses confusing language and secret agreements to keep you paying longer than you intend. I was talked into signing up by a representative who told me I could do a three-month trial, but after my three months ended, they automatically charged me for a fourth month—without any clear warning or notice. When I reached out, they hid behind fine print and refused to take responsibility for the misinformation I was given. It feels like a scam—set up to trap people into ongoing charges they never agreed to. If you value honesty and clear communication, stay far away from this company.

Care.com does not explain their system initially. I spent three hours as a senior looking for help with transportation and errands. I was moved through the online system to an auto pay form (minimum of three months @$88.00 monthly) to allow me to 'hopefully find someone available' with no guarantee of background or verification of credentials. AN INSULT TO MY INTELLIGENCE, to say the least!

I signed up for a care.com membership with an enhancement for being able to request motor vehicle records from the prospective caregivers. This was a premium membership for $59.95 (compared to a regular membership). I asked for MVD records from three prospective caregivers. None of them were able to successfully consent to the MVD records because the link provided did not work. I alerted care.com to the issue and they told me it was a "known" bug and they would fix it. I told them I could not get care for the week I needed it and asked them to refund me the $20 for the service that did not work. They refused and said they fixed it and don't offer refunds. So, essentially, Care.com upsold a product that they knew was not working and then refused to refund me $20 because I could not get care as I needed because their product was not working. Filed a Trustpilot review and BBB Complaint and still refused to refund me $20. BUYER BEWARE.

When I was looking at the Care.com website I saw 24.95 a month so I clicked it. Then I noticed I was charged 77! Realizing that I made a mistake I called customer service and told them I only want 1 month service not 3 months. They refused to change the plan and refund my money. Since I was forced to keep the service I tried getting some one to board or pet sit my puppy. But Care.com did not allow me to first meet the person before paying. I could only "book" the petsitter. Which meant money would be taken out of my account before I could in person meet the person! Because of this I never "booked" anyone. In summary, I did not recieve the service they had me signed up for. My reference # is: 2025-04-28-30497415
