Great company and agents, with competitive rates. I like that there is no broker or middle man taking a commission.
Response from Canvas AnnuityJun 23, 2026
Thank you for the kind words! Putting more of your money to work for you and out of the hands of middlemen is exactly what Canvas was built for. We are glad the rates and our team hit the mark. Welcome to the Canvas family!

It was pretty easy experience. I made a phone call for questions and the agent on the phone was very helpful and the online process was easier than I thought. Thank you all.

I love the simplicity of opening a fixed annuity with Canvas. The straight forward approach toward providing the fixed compounded deferred interest/yields without rider charges. Especially like the 10% free withdrawals if needed and the death benefits yield being the same as the accumulated value with any additional rider charges. Customer service was great as well as polite staff.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Michael, and thank you for continuing to think of us! Your loyalty means more than you know, and it is customers like you that inspire us to keep doing what we do. We are always here for you and look forward to many more years of seeing your retirement grow!

Everything was ok until I was unable to do an ach transfer from Synchrony to you.
Response from Canvas AnnuityJun 15, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience, Ann. We're sorry to hear the ACH transfer from Synchrony created a snag in an otherwise smooth process. Transfers from certain institutions can sometimes come with additional steps or restrictions that are outside of our control, but we never want that to be a frustrating experience. Our agents are always available to help work through situations like this and find the best path forward. Please don't hesitate to reach out and we would be happy to assist!
