The lock-in interest rate was not honored and the issue day was two weeks delayed
In a mid-May-June promotion from the Canvas website, the fixed annuity rate was 6.35% for 5 years. They allowed each customer to lock in 3 annuities for that rate. After applying for 2 annuities with the front agents, I waited for paper policies to be sent to my address when everything was settled. I didn't receive any, so I went to their website to look for my policies. I realized that they only honored one annuity, and the second one dropped to 6.1% without letting me know in advance. I also found out the issue day of annuities was set up two weeks after the fund was transferred within 5 business days. I lost 2 weeks of interest and the interest rate that Canvas had promised. It's not the fault of the agents who picked up the phones to help their customers, it was Cynthia Jasse's fault, who made mistakes and delayed the lock-in process. Please resolve these issues for me.
