The unit is blocking calls but having trouble with allowed calls making voice mail. Have tried both setups with the two provided cords. Need to continually unplug the unit from the phone line so as to reset. May not keep the product. ***UPDATED*** Was given suggestions by George from CPR on what to check on the product for proper function. The CPR V10000 is now working very well and I am happy with the purchase and thankful to George.

At age 75 the hassle of landline sales promotions and political calls is irritating. How when I pick up my landline telephone with an unwanted call just press the big red "block now." Sometimes I miss a call yet it show up on my caller identification. It would be convenient to add this number to the "block now" list yet do not believe it is possible. If you do miss a call, then you can easily add it to the block list by using the call list on the call blocker. Keep pressing and releasing the Call List button on the call blocker to go through your recent calls, and when you get to the number you want to block, just press the Block Now button like you would normally. I have used "Call Blocker" for about three years and would not be without one. It is a life savor for my nerves as once a call is blocked I do not have to worry they will be calling again and again. Since we are in a political circus around here--the calls have increased to sometimes as much as 10-15 a day - Thanks for the blocker! Anne

Following a recent stay at my Mom’s home, I was amazed that she was receiving 12 to 15 calls each day before 1 PM. All of them were fraudulent calls. As an elderly lady, living alone, not truly embracing the benefits of “caller ID” and voicemail, She would consistently reach for the phone to answer it. This device is truly nothing short of amazing. Best investment I have made around “quality of life” in the last 5-10 years.
