The red block button works well for my Mom who has Alzheimer’s. I did not give it 5 stars because I had hoped it would block more of the calls automatically.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We're really glad the red block button is helping your mom. You can also manage calls more effectively by adding unwanted area codes or prefixes (like the first 6 digits) into the block list. This lets the device automatically block most nuisance calls from those regions without needing to press the red button every time. It gives you a nice semi-automatic layer of control.

It is so nice to have the quiet associated with having a call blocker and it is a pure joy to manually block a number when it hasn't been blocked previously. It is somewhat confusing to figure out how to wire the call blocker to our particular landline. I found that the configuration that worked for our system was not the one I would have thought. If your system is not working properly, I suggest you go through all the possible wiring configuration until you find the one that works for your system.

Thank you for the great review! We're thrilled the CPR Call Blocker is giving you that peaceful quiet and the joy of manually blocking calls. Thanks for the helpful wiring tip - landline setups vary, so trying the different configurations (series or parallel) is spot-on advice. Our guides cover both to make it easier.

I bought this for my parents. It's helped with some of the robot calls, I wished it took care of the several "Medicare call" . My Mom got a call from my nieces phone number, it was Medicare. They need to get a real job. Overall, it's stopped 60% of the scam calls

Can’t use my wireless phone to enter numbers
Response from CPR Call Blocker USAJan 15, 2026
Hello John. It is possible to add numbers from your wireless (cordless) handset. The good news is our CPR Call Blocker works perfectly with DECT cordless phones. From any handset (corded or cordless), just: Get a dial tone Dial * * 7 # (beep) Enter the number to block Press # (beep to confirm) This should work seamlessly from your cordless phone. If it’s still not beeping or working as expected, please contact our support team - we’ll happily guide you through it. Thanks again for choosing CPR Call Blocker.

I've had a couple of issues. Caller name is not displayed and second the screen bounces between the call list and the blocked list. Sometimes I'm not sure which list I'm viewing. When I clear the list, it's the wrong list.
Response from CPR Call Blocker USAJan 20, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. To answer your questions: For caller names, the device shows the number from your landline's Caller ID service - names depend on your provider sending them. It might be worth confirming with them that full Caller ID (with name) is enabled on your line. On the screen bouncing and list confusion, we understand how annoying that is. Use the dedicated "Calls List" and "Block List" buttons to switch, and double-check you're in the right view before deleting. Thanks again for choosing CPR Call Blocker - we're glad it's blocking those unwanted calls and are here to make things smoother for you! Best regards, The CPR Call Blocker Team
