Nice people, impersonal process
We purchased a trailer over the phone and our sales person Angel was great. She was very helpful in making sure we knew everything about our trailer before we drove 3 hours to pick it up. When we got to the dealership everyone was friendly and our walkthrough was great. After that is was just a feeling of an assembly line. I understand that it is busy there and they need structure but it was just kind of a cold feeling. We never met our sales person at the dealership, which was important for us because she was the one I gained trust with over the phone. When we were getting ready to sign paperwork we got an email from another dealership that was quite a bit lower than what we were paying. We brought this up, not necessarily wanting them to beat the price but perhaps to negotiate a little. The mentality when we brought this up get like they had already gotten the deposit so if we don’t like it then we can go. We had already driven 3 hours so we decided to go through with the deal. I know we could have just walked away but we would have been forfeiting a deposit. I don’t have anything individually bad to say about anyone in the dealership. The process just seemed very impersonal for the big chunk of money that we spent there.
