Only giving one star because I have to! Very bad company never can speak to anyone. They canceled my insurance and it was paid and they got my qualified health letter and still overcharged me ! I set up multiple appointments to speak to a supervisor and no one returned my calls! Absolutely horrific insurance company

Awful! You can’t speak to your agent directly they outsource their calls so you’ll speak to 3 different people who have no idea what’s going on. This caused me to pay an extra $120 after cancelling my policy, even though they told me I wouldn’t owe anything.

I never signed a contract with the and they pulled the money out of my bank account and now I have to dispute it because they wont return it. Never do business with then they are criminals.

Last night at approximately 12:00 AM, my vehicle broke down and I arranged for roadside assistance to have it towed to the dealership located at 1333 N Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. As of today at 5:15 PM EST, my vehicle has still not been delivered to the destination. This delay is extremely concerning, as I am scheduled to trade in this vehicle tomorrow in order to complete the purchase of a new car. Due to your failure to deliver my vehicle as agreed, I am now at risk of not being able to proceed with this transaction. Additionally, I have spent over four hours today on the phone with your team during my workday attempting to resolve this issue. I have been hung up on multiple times, transferred repeatedly, and have yet to receive any meaningful update or resolution. This level of service is unacceptable. The lack of communication and accountability has caused significant disruption to both my professional and personal obligations. At this point, I need immediate confirmation of my vehicle’s location and a guaranteed delivery timeline. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate further, including contacting authorities and filing formal complaint

I have been dealing with this company for a month now, I switched insurance agents and before the due date of the autopay I had with them. On the Autopay date they took the insurance amount anyway. I have been fighting with the since then to get my money returned. I called them today and they said a check had been issued on the 20th and would take ten days to get here. If you have to deal with them do not use Autopay, better yet don't use them I use auto pay all the time and have never had a problem with it.

Please stay very far away from these scammers! Stay far away! Bristol West is the worst company I have ever seen! They will make you pay for a policy and find a way to take your money when you are in, or find yourself in, deep trouble! Pure robbery! This company is a scam. They do not even deserve a 0.5 star. It is so ridiculous that they canceled my policy due to the fallacious reason that I did not sign some application. How on earth can they issue an insurance policy card to someone who did not apply for it nor sign its application? I paid the quote they provided for 6-month coverage of my 2 cars, and days after my policy was activated, they claimed that I was supposed to be enrolled in autopay or pay some additional fees. I discovered today, when I wanted to go for a car inspection and renew my registration, that they had just canceled my policy 3 weeks before the expiration date. I called them to ask questions, and they asked me to go and insure my cars somewhere else. Now I feel trapped with uninsured cars. They should shut down that scam!

1 Star – Very Poor Service and Unfair Policy Cancellation I had a very disappointing experience with Bristol West Insurance. My policy was cancelled due to alleged nonpayment, and I was told that a notification had been sent on February 10th. However, I carefully checked all of my email folders — inbox, spam, and trash — and I never received any notice at all. Because of this, I was completely unaware that my policy was at risk of cancellation. When I called to resolve the issue, I asked if the policy could be reinstated without a lapse, since I was never properly notified. The representative refused to make any exception or show any flexibility, even though this situation was clearly not caused by negligence on my side. Now I am being forced into a “lapse” in coverage, which can negatively impact my insurance record and future rates — all because of a failure in their notification system. This is extremely frustrating and unfair. A company should ensure that customers actually receive important cancellation notices, especially when it directly affects their legal ability to drive. I would not recommend Bristol West Insurance based on this experience.
