Bristol West, whom I've had for half a year, tried to renew my policy during a hurricane power outage, and since it didn't go through, they cancelled it and then wanted to charge me 25 dollars to reinstate my policy for something I had zero control over. When I talked to customer service, they said they could not do away with that 25 dollar reactivation fee. Horrible to charge people a fee for something they have no control over. Literally cancelled it on the 13th of October during a hurricane rolling through my county in South Alabama.

Worst customer service. I was blamed for an accident when I had a green light. They did no investigation or they easily could see it was not my fault. I live in St. Louis and the huge truck that hit me at 85 mph was from OK. He missed his exit, ran a red light and said he meant to go there. it was a business truck and the street he said he was going to has only homes. Proving he was lying. At first, they were going to give me 1 day of car rental, got it up to 3 days, yippie. I had 4 broken ribs and broken right wrist. Been over a year and still not better. They cost me over $25k in expenses and quickly closed the case. My long-term Farmers agent sent me there and when I told him, he blocked my calls, he knew how they operated. Site won't allow me to put in the date of accident, 08/16/25

My experience has been extremely frustrating, disappointing, and completely unacceptable. When I initially signed up for my policy, I completed all the required paperwork and explicitly requested automatic renewal with automatic payments. However, despite my authorization, the company failed to process my payment as agreed. I was then notified via email of a late payment, even though the issue originated from the company's failure to follow the payment arrangements I had already established. I immediately contacted customer service to resolve the situation, only to be charged additional fees. This is now the second time I have experienced this issue. After believing everything had been resolved, I received yet another notice attempting to charge me even more money. My policy has gone from approximately $240 to nearly $400, which is absolutely outrageous. I should not be financially penalized for administrative errors or failures on the company's behalf. To make matters worse, I have called numerous times seeking assistance. I was assured by an agent that I would receive a callback, which never happened. There has been a complete lack of accountability, communication, and genuine effort to resolve my concerns. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly expressed my desire to maintain my policy. I am not trying to cancel my coverage or avoid my financial obligations. I simply expect the company to honor the original agreement I signed and ensure that my payments and policy are managed correctly. Instead, I feel as though I am being taken advantage of financially, with additional charges continuing to accumulate through no fault of my own. The lack of accommodation, professionalism, and customer support has made this one of the worst service experiences I have encountered. I am requesting a thorough review of my account, the removal or reimbursement of any unjustified additional charges, and confirmation that my original automatic payment arrangements are properly established. At this point, I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. Customers should not have to make repeated calls, absorb additional charges, and fight to have a company honor the agreement they originally signed.

Horrible people that unjustifiably tried to raise my rates. I canceled my policy shut off the auto pay , and they still took a payment out. Two weeks later , and I still have not got my money back. This company needs to be shut down and reported and SUED. Lousy rate hike with no reasons. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

RUN AWAY! This company billed me after I had paid early, refunded me, then tried to bill me a second time. Customer service people are rude. Now they are saying that I owe them after they told me I was due a refund after I cancelled my policy and went to progressive. They are now sending me renewal letters too. RUN! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THEM.

I cancelled my policy after finding a better rate with Progressive. I asked that the policy be cancelled effective 08/02/2026. I thought that was end of that then on 09/25/2026 they withdrew $158 from my account screwing my banking up. When I discovered this I contacted them and was told they would correct and issue refund within one business day. Nothing happened so I contacted them again on 09/29/2026 and this time they said 9-10 days for me to receive refund today 10/07/ 2026 contacted them again and this time they said refund would be processed on 10/09/2026 and it would be 9-10 days from that date. They are either greatly incompetent or just a bunch of liars. Stay away from them if you want to save yourself a lot of grief.

Dont do it. They auto-renewed my policy without my permission. I had a random payment come from my account. That’s when i noticed what was going on. They also refused to give me back my payment that was taken out of my account. So if you want your money back, you’ll have to take it to court. I asked the agent on the line where it says my policy would be auto-renewed, he couldn't find it either.
