I’m furious!!! My psychiatry apt was cancelled without warning or explanation. I was reassigned to a different provider without my knowledge approval or consent. This potentially throwing off all of the work my doctor and I had done over the past 90 days. Including a prescription change which did NOT happen as I was told. Now I’m starting over and I am angry

Poor match with therapist left me highly agitated. I was told to file a grievance to get a refund for poor service, to no avail. The therapist I was assigned had ZERO ability to deal with my specific needs. Yet, she never suggested a more appropriate match. She was schooling herself on my dime. Her LGBTQ association is laughable. So, beware that you may not match well at first, but it is up to you to figure that out. ALL BRIGHTSIDE WANTS IS MONEY!

0 stars not available. When it was time for my appointment the link did not allow me in. After trying settings, etc. and trying to locate help, I found another way to connect 10 minutes in. I found a message from the "provider" stating they were ready but I couldn't reply. Once I got in no one was there and I received an email stating I would be changed $165 for a no show. The very anxious 15 minutes I spent trying to join - 10 minutes late and $165 billed for the opposite of help. I also just noticed others were charged much less for a no show fee (I was there 10 minutes in no thanks to BS help of any kind). BS seems a good way to address this organization.

Absolutely terrible service and would NEVER reccomend to anyone. Their billing is confusing, they do not tell you the cost of the appointment before so you have no clue how much you will be paying out of pocket. The online system thats supposed to tell you doesnt work, says unavailable. I thought it would tell me the cost when i set an appointment, it did not. So i called to ask and they said they couldnt tell me until insurance has it, but also said theycant cancel the appointment without a $165 charge. Even thought the appointment was set the night before, and the dang therapist didnt have any clients any way. Horrible business practices, feels like a trap into paying money you dont have. They also dont do certain medications, so you may be setting an appointment and not even know that they cant help you any way. Go somewhere else, do not use this place.

Provider reported no call no show before the time limit resulting in a $95 fee. When I asked for a review and refund they said no, even tho I was in the meeting before the time limit had been reached.

Misleading advertising and no refunds! Buyer beware!

As a first time user, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Brightside. I showed up for my appointment, but the therapist never did. If I had missed the appointment, I would have been charged a $120 no show fee, yet there was no compensation for my lost time and no real understanding from customer service. The lack of communication, accountability, and support was frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Brightside and would encourage others to consider alternative mental health providers.

Do not use. Another online psych AI scammer. I used them for 2 appointments - service was just ok, provider seemed unsure. Then I got a barrage of emails from Brightside saying they no longer accepted my insurance (united), threatening that if I don't update it in time they would charge me the $100 visit fee for my upcoming appointment. I sent them multiple emails showing that my insurance did not change, every time I updated my info on file it said "great news! We accept your insurance" but it would still say there was an error and I wasn't covered with them. This went on for weeks with no response no matter how I tried to reach out (you can't speak to someone obviously LOL). I was forced to reschedule my followup appointment in fear of getting charged out of pocket. Then I finally get an AI response email with no explanation for what went wrong - just that my insurance was good now. But they addressed the email to my husband's name and changed the account to his name, since he is the primary on insurance policy 🙄 so then I had to wait for an email response for them to fix that, since it would not allow me to. So now im about 2 months behind on my followup appointment. I get a nasty stomach virus, literally can't get out of bed & my toddler has symptoms too. I went online to reschedule my brightside appointment, which is the next day - 21 hours from then. It allows me to reschedule for next week. Then within an hour I get an email with my $95 cancelation fee they automatically charged my card on file. No customer service, no nothing. They PROMPTLY took care of that fee charge, but couldn't get back to me for weeks. Stay FAR AWAY!!!!
