I am STILL waiting for a refund for an appt they charged me saying I didn’t show for my appointment when I DID. Even the doctor I saw said she would vice for me so please pass along the message so I can get refunded. Otherwise I will change who I see providers through and use some place other than Brightside. I’ve sent message after message with no response

I requested medical records numerous times. I had to call 3 times. I was given wrong information. I am still waiting for a physical address to send certified mail.

There is no available appointments. receive many emails to book and cant. I emailed therapist 3 times and no response.

I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time.

Brightside Health is a complete assembly line that treats human lives like low-priority support tickets. They made sure their billing system processed my payment instantly for an initial assessment on Tuesday, but when it came to providing actual medical care and next steps, they completely ghosted me for three full days. ​When I finally demanded the treatment plan I paid for on Friday, their support team panicked and abruptly terminated my care via an automated text template. To cover up their own clinical neglect, they actually fabricated a "policy violation" out of thin air, falsely claiming I was aggressive, even though no anger or profanity was ever used. ​The lack of internal communication is a joke. Minutes after support terminated my account, a separate provider sent me a completely contradictory canned message—so incredibly lazy they didn't even bother to edit out the bracketed template text at the bottom.

Worst experience ever. My mom passed and they made my life a living hell. They stole my money and fd me mentally. Please think twice

I came to Brightside because my therapist also worked through them. First off, they don’t have a phone number you can call. Even when I asked them to give me a number or even gave them mine to call me. They continued to email instead. Which leads to the second reason, they don’t actually read the whole email. It’s like they get an AI summary and decide to email based on that. Which means they miss pertinent information or they just don’t read through them They continued to send me the same response in email even when I continued to explain again and again what is I needed and how their instructions didn’t help with what I was asking for. Third, they lied to me saying the therapist I requested informed them she couldn’t see me when SHE was the one who told ME to come over to this company. Fourth, they charged me a $165 no show fee. I tried explaining that I have unpredictable health issues (lupus, pots, two herniated discs). I told them that the night prior I’d taken medication and it caused me to sleep through my alarm. They refused to compromise with me at all. I asked if I were to have a seizure and missed my appointment then I’d be charged $165 for having a seizure? They still refused to compromise with me at all. This is the most ridiculous company I’ve ver dealt with. Save yourself the headache and choose somewhere else!!
