Brightside discriminates against the uninsured
Brightside discriminates against the uninsured clients. I lost my insurance (it was cancelled). When I contacted Brightside, they said the only option was a "club" plan. This means that I get four sessions per 30 days for a set price. If I am unable to schedule four sessions, I am still charged for four sessions. No allowance for vacations, illness, or travel. Providing services is not the same as joining a health club. This is discrimination. Only insured clients can be charged per session.

We understand that changes in insurance coverage and scheduling challenges can be frustrating, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Brightside offers a cash plan designed to provide consistent access to care at a flat monthly rate, which includes up to four sessions within each 30-day period. Clients are able to reschedule appointments as needed during that time. We recognize that circumstances such as travel, illness, or other commitments may impact a client’s ability to use all scheduled sessions. While the plan is not structured as a per-session billing model, we value this feedback and understand how greater flexibility may better meet individual needs.
